I wonder if the wl was finalized today. Last week they told me by the end of this week it should be ready and since they met today, I don't think they'll be meeting up again tomorrow...

I think someone should call and see if they got the waitlist sorted out lol 😀 I called already and gave my amcas number I dont want to seem crazy lol but I just have to know when can I know my ranking!!!! Its stressing me out I wanna hear back!!!!

I am considering it...I am not that anxious anymore though. I got an acceptance at an in state school, which will save a considerable amount of money. I am just curious to see where I rank...I will probably not accept the offer if I get one.

Just called in and got my answer... alternate list. Very disappointed, but I guess I'm in the same boat as all of you now!

I just called and they said that the Admissions Committee is meeting this week to finalize things and that they will have an email notification sent out by the end of this week letting us know of our waitlist rankings.

Are you on the waitlist? I interviewed in late April and I haven't received any notification whatsoever yet. Does that mean us late April interviewees are automatically waitlisted?
DancinSarah, I think that if you are accepted they email you immediately, but if you are placed on the alternate list that info comes by conventional mail. I think Gifaroo called and got an answer so you could try that.
This is indeed how it works. Try calling, the admissions office is very receptive.

hey everyone, I'm a second year here at UTCOM so if anyone has questions about housing I may be able to help you out since I looked at about 15 different apartments last year before deciding on where I am now (Fox Chase). Hit me up with questions if you have them about where to live, or anything else like books, orientation, etc. I should also put on the table that I am willing to split referral bonuses 50/50 with anyone who ends up moving into Fox Chase, so keep me in mind!

It might...i called today. The lady said she will send out emails as soon as she gets the finalized list from the committee but she doesn't have it yet. I asked if it will be out today and she said she was not sure. I am guessing either today or tmr.

Yeah, I guess not. It's getting kind of frustrating though. Wasn't it originally supposed to be last week? I wish they would just set a date and do it. It's way too stressful this way, haha. I am so annoyed...and so sick of waiting. I do not understand why the list still needs to be "finalized." Haven't they ranked our applications yet? It is not the first time they have seen them.

Haha, I think since most people reading this webpage are wait-listed at UT, the general consensus will be that Wayne State is the far better choice for you. Haha, in all serious I think UT is outstanding and I don't really know much about Wayne State so I'm probably not actually any real help.
