what are the different alternate list sections?
I think people who aren't high priority are less likely to come on here and post it. I'm pretty sure they seperate it into thirds.
How many were taken off of the waitlist last year?
I just looked through the thread from last year and it seemed like they didnt get through all of the High Priority...but people stopped posting around July 10th so who knows what happened after that?
I was also just accepted off of the list! From what I understand from a current M1 at Toledo, last year they made it through the entire HP list and accepted several students from the MP list. Good luck to everyone!
Congrats!!! Did you hear via email or phone call? Thanks!

Because of time constraints, please respond within 48 hours.
Thank you! I was notified via email, although I heard that some people were called last year. Also, another bit of good news is the following line from the email:
This means that people can't sit on their acceptances, so the turn-around should be pretty quick if someone decides to decline the offer. Good luck again to everyone!
EDIT: As soon as I posted this I saw that nbellanc beat me to everything I had to say... 😳
well, uberswimmer09, after looking at it more closely, the question was addressed to you--not me! So I think you're OK. 😉
Congrats to everyone who got in! If you don't mind me asking are you guys in-state or out-of-state? From what I understand there are seperate waitlists. Just curious. Congrats again!

Do you guys think they'll ever give us more info on our rank than just our priority?
I hope so. Call, ask, and let us know what they say.
Thanks for volunteering me but I think I'll wait until the next batch of acceptances go out before I make the call... of course if someone else does it and posts, it will be much appreciated 🙄
Hey, does anyone have an idea of how many high priority applicants there are usually? Also, did any of you send LOIs? Thanks
Based on last yr's thread, there were ~50 in each priority level (this was based off someone calling the admission office, so it may be true, but please take it with a grain of salt also).
Yes to sending LOI.
Thanks, 50 is a lot more than I was hoping would be on each priority level, but what can you do. Hopefully people drop out so we can all be there this fall!
I sent a formal letter of interest and less formal emails to both Drs. Crissman and Kleshinski. I also got in touch with one of my interviewers. I had a really good interview with him and he remembered me. He volunteered to call the Dr. Kleshinski and put in a good word for me. I did this all before the rankings came out though. I know in one emial the said that we need not send any further information unless it is requested. But I don't think it could hurt at this point, right?
Withdrew OOS. Good luck to everyone still waiting!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Hope you got into your top school!
And gl to all of us OOS waitlisted kids... here is to hoping!
Just fyi, I called a bit ago, and was told the class is currently full, but the wl is moving and they expect it to continue moving...the woman I spoke to (Sandy possibly?) was really helpful/nice, and mentioned they couldn't tell us anything other than our priority group. Hope this helps!
Thanks for the update! :/ Man... I was really hoping for some good news today. Oh well! Best of luck, greentea33. Not to beat a dead horse,, but, pleeeeaseee move, waitlist!
