I withdrew yesterday. Great school, great location but I think I will be heading back to TX (or to AZ). Cost of living was just too much for me here in CA.

Apparently both. I only saw my invite invitation on the status website. But other people in this thread received an email. So definitely check your status periodically!

Yeah, I still haven't gotten a secondary and I was complete in the summer. I guess it's good to hear that some people are still getting them though

Same here. AND I can't even check my status online even though I was verified 8/16. I called to check why that is - they said I shouldn't be able to do that and said that my primary app is still under review.

Crossing my fingers and wishing for a secondary every time the clock reads 11:11!!! Please med school GOD, if you exist, please give me a SIGN.

Haha, absolutely my friend. I've been pending review since August 3rd. Our applications must be exceptionally intriguing since they are reviewing them so thoroughly =). On a more serious note, I guess we just have to be patient. Such is med school admissions.

You guys won't hear back for awhile I think. Admissions is backlogged. They still have interviewees from mid-November to give decisions to.

Bummer...alternate list. Interviewed 11/29. It sure was nice to have the hope that I would get an acceptance and essentially end my application cycle since Irvine is my number one. Hopefully there's a LOT of waitlist movement come May!

UCI has the same odds on every interview day. 1/3 accepted outright, 1/3 alternate list, 1/3 rejected.

I mean it's just that I like to hear back from schools I applied to (and especially from state schools that are particularly close to home). Also, a few of my friends interviewed there and really liked it.

& where did you log in with your netID?!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that we just needed to submit the FAFSA & specify each school...

All we need to do right now is fafsa. Then, we need to submit some stuff to the financial aid office by May. Atleast that's what it says in my acceptance packet. I'm not sure if Kip is just really early or mixed up with another school, but we're fine.
