Also waitlisted. My fifth in a row. I want to cry. 🙁 Guess its better than a rejection though.

Me neither. Hahaha. I'm going to laugh so hard if there are no more acceptances going out, and they spent the last month deciding who to reject and who to waitlist.
 
Sad to say, but you're probably right..this past month was Waitlist and reject decisions only.
 
Sooo someone should call and find out how many ppl are on the waitlist. I am on top of a snowy mountain with bad cell service or I would... Sounds like they waitlisted an awful lot of us!

Last year's thread said there were between 150 and 200. It could be different this year, but that might serve as a rough estimate.
 
I'm not sure what I prefer: to be on the wait list or my current state of waiting to see if I'm on the wait list.:xf:

oh hello you have summed up my thoughts exactly.

i refreshed thunderbird so many times that it told me to stop spamming the server with login requests haha.
 
Just called...not releasing any information about how many people are on the waitlist, and they said there isn't anything you can do to improve your chances of getting accepted from the waitlist.

For all of you who are waiting to get an email from CU I called the admissions office, they're sending batches in waves so that they're not received as spam. Don't worry quite yet if you haven't received an email. Also was told no acceptances sent out today so just looks like waitlists and possibly rejections...

Sweet. I can stop dealing with this then. That means all acceptances have been sent out already, right? That seems....odd.

Just received my straight rejection. Good luck to everyone still waiting and to those on the waitlist!

I interviewed way back in October, pretty irritated that I had to wait 5 months to find out what they probably had decided months ago. But it's been fun watching this board over the past few weeks, so thanks y'all!

and MT headed, see you in NOLA!

+1 to all of this. Also, the fact that they made everyone wait a month for WLs/rejections is so NOT hippie granola. I think I'll be matriculating at the other UCD, the REAL hippie granola school.. UC Davis. 🙂 Good luck to everyone else! I'll miss this thread.

Oh and I think I'll bring to light the fact that, during my interview day, an unnamed admissions person said to us, "our goal is to be the most transparent school you interview at." This was during the morning briefing. Just because we were all tired doesn't mean we weren't listening.

To that is say EPIC FAIL! Lol.

I totally agree. Part me wants to show up at those rejected info sessions to be the WTF mate?
 
rejected too. Very grateful to have one acceptance elsewhere at one of my two top choices. Good luck CUers, see you in the hospitals as we move medicine towards better practices and better patient care!!!

(also I recommend book "why hospitals should fly". Is about imaginary hospital in Denver. . . if you share a passion for culture change and performance improvement in medicine I think you will enjoy it! Sometimes cheesy dialogue but really cool ideas http://www.whyhospitalsshouldfly.com/)
 
Wait listed this afternoon. Waitin to wait. 4th wait list spot echoing the others and wanting to cry.

+3, I have 4 waitlists and zero acceptances...CU makes 4. I should have applied to more than 8 schools. Here's to hoping!
