Ha! I love that! Rate limiting step! But of course there are those that have already received information about outright rejection/interview/acceptance, so any idea how many applications they have left to go through? I would think they have made a decision on a large amount of applicants by now. Although I am a little anxious to hear some news, I'm just asking these questions because I am more curious about their application review process. We hear and see things going on from our viewpoint, but they have their own process. Any feedback/answers to those questions would be appreciated. Thanks for the input of a 4th year medical student.
I honestly don't know. There are fourth years on the admissions committee, but they don't see applications until they have been invited to interview. I don't know how many people there are who review the applications and decide who gets an interview. I do know there are something like ~8 interview days left, and they *generally* aren't scheduled more than four weeks out.
