Just got an II for dates starting in April. Doesn't say how late they schedule them, but it looks like they still have a few spots open. Not sure if I should go. I had given up on this one, and I'm feeling quite burnt out on traveling and interviewing. It seems so late in their season, will I be doomed to the wait list? It's such a good school, though. What do I do?!?!

congrats!! i would say that you probably shouldn't go, as I really want to get an II there myself. But in all seriousness if you have been accepted somewhere where you really want to go, only go to this interview if you think there is a very good chance you will go to Einstein if accepted. Good luck!

Yeah I'm talking about the mannequins. About the curriculum - for example I know some schools divide their curriculum/courses into blocks based on organ/pathology systems. Is Einstein's curriculum organized in any fashion? And I was curious what current students thought/had to say about einstein's curriculum in general

Thanks!!

Einsteins curriculum isn't based on organ systems, it follows the traditional course layout common to most schools.

Most students I've spoken to are pretty happy with the curriculum so far. (I'm a MS1)

Instead of being thrown into anatomy as your first course, you start off with Histology which gives you a nice background and foundation before starting anatomy 2 months into the semester. People are generally very happy with how this is set up.

Einstein has a really good setup for the first year curriculum, the classes are well set and you are given tons of times before exams to prepare. Overall I would say that the student happiness with the overall curriculum is high!

If they only have April dates left...does this mean that these are the last of the II's? 🙁

unfortunately that's probably true, unless some people who they invite choose not to go. then maybe we can get some IIs..👍

I don't think they have designated days. I think you email them what days you woul,d like to i nterview (except thursdays and weekends) and they try to accomodate you

Anyone know if you can receive an outright offer if you interview after January?

Has anyone felt that its gonna be difficult getting them the financial aid forms + all supporting documentation within 2 weeks from when you accept the offer? Theres no way I can get all of it in so soon. I emailed them yesterday asking about it, but no reply yet.

I've heard of some classmates who got a straight up acceptance, and had interviewed after January.. So I can't say how many/what %, but it definitely can happen though!

Just so you know, the fafsa/tax forms, etc don't need to be filled out now. All that needs to be sent in 2 weeks is the application for the scholarships. Confirmed this via phone.

The earliest interview dates are now in April? Dear god. I was going to write a pre-interview letter of interest, but I'm thinking I shouldn't do it anymore. And I really thought I might have a chance at Albert because their interview season runs so long.... Lol at me.

Don't give up hope! Some students interview late and still get in! 🙂

Did we get a link for scholarship applications? Or do I need to navigate that page with the other forms. Sorry that's not very descriptive haha

nooooooooooooooooooo
almost no more interview dates? This was my top choice 🙁

Quick question to those who have been accepted: did you receive an email saying your technical standards or certiphi have not been received? I definitely filled out the former and submitted it. However, for the background check, I had gotten the certiphi email and completed that process about a week earlier for other schools and been cleared. I thought that certiphi sent this info automatically to schools you get accepted to after you are initially cleared?

I called admissions today about the background check, she looked mine up and said it was completed but I still had to release it to them. So once you sign on to certiphi there's a button to release the report.

Thank you very much!

Emailed the admin office. Turns out they had all 3 of the online acceptance forms, guess the background check got to them today or something? Anyways.. that's a relief

Hey Guys,

So Im interviewing this Friday (2/1). Im flying in from out of state. This will by my first time in the New York area. I have a few questions:
1) How long will it take to get from Einstein to LaGuardia Airport? The last flight I can get is at 6:30 PM on Friday Afternoon. Will I have enough time?

2) Is it too late to get a student host for the night before? For those of you who got the host, how long did it take to set up? How much in advance did you guys do it?

3) Where is the closest/ cheapest place to say the night before.

Any info you guys can give would be great... as this is my first time in the Big Apple!

for those who sent letters of intent/interest, updates, etc; who did you send them too?

it it true that albert einstein has interviewed into may in past years?

is albert einstein still sending out interview invites? If so how late do they interview and are they receptive to in the area calls/emails. thanks guys.

Random question: I know for the general AMCAS personal statement it was too formal to use contractions (i.e. I have = I've), but do you guys think it would be ok in the scholarship statements? I'm super pressed for characters...

It doesnt matter. Given the way the questions are worded, I am using a much less formal approach to answering them. Compared to my PS at least.

Just got an interview invite here today while I was at my Hofstra Interview. April 8th is the earliest date.

Wonder when the next wave of decisions will come out. Interviewed in November and am still waiting to hear back.

Interview invite yesterday. My application was complete at the start of August.
