Hi I interviewed on January 23rd. Does anyone know about how long it takes to hear back either way??
I was asked about my transcript because they are about to review my file. I interviewed a few months ago so apparently they haven't been reviewing files in order. So it's not all bad if you haven't heard anything, just be patient!

II today for early April. Can any current students comment on the likelihood that I will be interviewing for the waitlist? Thanks.
Has anyone tried calling and asking the admissions office to check if there have been any interview cancellations for the possibility of an earlier interview date?
has anyone been rejected pre interview? I haven't heard a thing from YU since they said my application was complete back in Aug.. Thoughts?
waitlisted today, interviewed 1/16
You just answered your own question. But congrats!!Just got accepted via email. Yea!!!

Wondering if you ever heard back from them?
Congrats...II today for early April. Can any current students comment on the likelihood that I will be interviewing for the waitlist? Thanks.

Congrats! Did u send einstein a letter after your interview? Thanks...Accepted to Albert Einstein this past Friday!
Debating between here and Georgetown but I think Einstein takes the cake!
Good luck to all those still waiting anxiously.

Einsteins curriculum isn't based on organ systems, it follows the traditional course layout common to most schools.
Most students I've spoken to are pretty happy with the curriculum so far. (I'm a MS1)
Instead of being thrown into anatomy as your first course, you start off with Histology which gives you a nice background and foundation before starting anatomy 2 months into the semester. People are generally very happy with how this is set up.
Einstein has a really good setup for the first year curriculum, the classes are well set and you are given tons of times before exams to prepare. Overall I would say that the student happiness with the overall curriculum is high!
I've heard of some classmates who got a straight up acceptance, and had interviewed after January.. So I can't say how many/what %, but it definitely can happen though!
accepted via email on Friday 2/1 🙂
So it turns out I can't really afford to interview here, so I think I will be canceling my interview on Feb 15th if anyone wants to try and grab an earlier date.
Anyone get into the high priority waitlist?
No HP yet, there's only one which will be stratified later in the process.
Hi I interviewed on January 23rd. Does anyone know about how long it takes to hear back either way??
There decision time makes no sense. some people have heard back with acceptance, rejection, or WL within a week. While others who interviewed before thanksgiving haven't heard anything.
I interviewed in September and still haven't heard back. My guess is the non-hear-anything-ers are the mediocre applicants that they're waiting and seeing whether to reject or waitlist depending on other applicants they interview in the meantime.
Isn't that what a wait list is for? 😕
I have my II on 2/25 - it will be my first time in NY from FL. For those of you who have interviewed, what was the experience like? any recommendations as far as preparation?
they seem incredibly accommodating to interviewees and answered all of my emails quickly. this is my number 1 choice (suffice it to say i was ecstatic when I got the II email 😀) so any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
sup batman. It will be a pretty short interview day since they don't do all the presentations and whatnot. Just a tour/lunch with med students and I think they usually do pretty short interviews, mine was very short. Make sure to give yourself time to find the interview. and try to get into the city and see some cool New Yorky stuff while you're there!
good luck!
Thanks for the quick response! i should be getting to LGA around noon Sunday, then shuttle down to campus and find the apartment i'll be staying at in student housing. should give me plenty of time to relax pre-interview and get a good night's sleep for Monday. i'm planning on leaving Monday night.
btw did you schedule to meet with a researcher, dean, financial aid director, etc.? I know it says you can email [Ms. Pace] a week in advance if you're interested and i'm thinking about taking advantage of any chance they give me to put my foot in the door
Anyone call admissions and ask if earlier interview dates are possible (if people drop them)?
If you call they just tell you to email emilia.
I did that... like 5000 times.
After 2 months I was able to reschedule, but only because a SUPER nice SDNer told me what time they planned to drop their interview, so I sent an email at the same time.
