hmmm I interviewed 2/5 and still have not received anything. starting to fear to worst 🙁

Were the letters sent to permanent or temporary addresses?

Oh no, that sucks! But there is still hope because it's not over until the first day of class...I heard someone gotten accepted a week before the start of medical school 🙂

Give it a week. You may live further away from NEOMED so it will take longer. I lived only 1hr away, so I got mine on Sat (1 day after they sent it).*

Not sure, I just listed a permanent address because the mail is shady at my temporary address.
 
Interviewed 2/5 Accepted. Received the call on 2/22!

Just thought I'd let everybody know that my husband (who's applied here), just called and they told him that they will continue extending II through the end of March (though they didn't specify whether those would be for spots on the wait list or not).
 
Got the letter finally at my permanent address. Tier 3. I have heard they go through 2/3 of the waiting list so tier 3 seems to be a rejection tier. Not gonna hold out hope.
 
Out of curiosity, is anyone who plans on going to NEOMED doing a Health Professions Scholarship with one of the military branches?

Aw, but you never know! Some people may withdraw from NEOMED waitlist or decline their acceptance because they have gotten better offers. Don't give up just yet! 🙂

Did you ever find out how many people are in each tier on the waitlist? I have been meaning to call to find out but have been pre-occupied with school.

Has anybody heard anything? I thought they might rank the list to an exact number after May 15th?
 
I was really excited at the interview when they said they usually make it half way through their wait list but I really hoped for some movement by now... starting to worry.

I know, I feel the exact same way...the worse thing is that I called last week and the admission personnel informed me that the class is currently full. Although he did say there is typically movement through the summer, I'm a bit worried now too.

Wow, I was thinking about calling too, I'm glad you did. I can't believe we didn't hear of any movement after May 15th. I figured most of the 1st tier people would be in by now. Debating whether to start my AMCAS application for next year....😕

I thought so too...I'm first tier as well...I don't know what to do either! 😱:scared:
 
Found out that no calls will be made to applicants on the alternate list until mid June when the school knows exactly how many BS/MD students will be entering the class.

Thanks for finding out! I wonder why they didn't tell me that when I called in last week...lol So, mid-June...argh 2-3 more weeks then *sigh* This whole "waiting" business is probably not good for my health, lol.
 
Withdrew my acceptance from NEOMED May 28, been accepted to a school much closer to home! Hope one of you waiting gets my spot, best of luck!
 
got in off the first tier of waitlist today! what a great day!

Just withdrew my acceptance. Sry, great school and was super excited about the new student housing but I got pulled off the waitlist in another school and I just couldn't refuse the offer, lol. Congrats to all of the incoming students for the Class of 2017 NEOMED and good luck to the people on the waitlist. I hope my spot goes to one of you guys/gals out there! ^_^
