If I got into one of the EAP programs since I’m on the MD alternate list, will I have to apply for NEOMED’s class of 2025 thru AMCAS? Or will I automatically be considered an applicant for the 2024-2025 cycle?

you automatically have a seat for fall 2025! i believe in the info session they said they still have you “apply” as in for the essays and stuff you just put “EAP”… i believe no MCAT and no interview again. but they walk you through reapplication as an EAP student

No, those accepted into the EAP can still be pulled from the masters program into the medical class for this year.

They told us in a meeting that you will reapply, but they will let us know when and how. We don’t need any letters and when you reapply, it copies a lot of your answers from the previous year, (like classes, extra curricular etc.) so you don’t have to do nearly as much. They just want you to update your activities so they have accurate data on their entering class.

So can I still reapply through amcas for 2024-2025 cycle for different schools, since right now I have no confirmation whether or not I was accepted into the EAP. I just don't want to hold off on submitting my primary for the 2024-2025 cycle if I don't have to. I'm ready to submit it, but I don't want to mess up anything for NEOMED's application in case I get into the EAP.

I’m not sure about that, you could ask the admissions team at Neomed. You could probably withdraw the application if you got accepted, but that’d be a waste of money. They all met on the 20th to pick who’d be in their programs, so I think they’ll probably be giving out acceptances soon.

Hello! I was accepted into the MLHSS EAP program yesterday! I’ve been a lurker on this forum for the past few months so It’s just all really exciting.

If you have been sent a rejection email for the EAP, it is still possible to get an acceptance letter later. I was sent a rejection email on Wednesday. I was emailing the admissions team and they stated that Wednesday was when first pool of acceptances was sent. They have until the end of Monday, July 1st, to send in their decisions. Then, I am assuming a second round of acceptances will be sent after that.

I was sent an acceptance the following day, on Thursday!
