Congrats! I just got an II too. Looks like this may be the start of the second wave of invites.

Have you already received an invite from them? If you did, then you can probably coordinate to figure out a way to schedule your interview so that you save a trip, I know a couple people who did that.
However, if you are still being reviewed it gets more complicated because I doubt that you calling will speed up the process at all. You can try calling, but i doubt you will get anywhere with it. I think your best bet is sitting tight for an interview invite and then trying to push the date forward to coincide with a time you are in Boston.
No, I have not. I will take your advice and just sit tight for now.
any chance the first round of acceptances will go out this week? I interviewed early October and they said they would try to let us know 1st week of November.
Last year, I, and a bunch of my friends, all heard back within a 1-1.5 months of interviewing. So I would guess that it should be about the same turn-around time.

On the website it says the day ends at 4:15 pm, was that the case for all of you? I'm thinking of booking a flight that leaves Logan at 5:20 pm since it's a lot cheaper than the later ones. I heard a cab ride to the airport takes about 15 min?

Too close. That's 4:50 boarding time, minus 15 mins at TSA at that time (minimum). You'd need everything to work out perfectly. Why don't you call them and ask jus to make sure?
Yea it takes 15 minutes maybe at like midnight with no one on the road, but at 4 pm god knows how long that ride will be.

If you go from Tufts med there is an HOV lane to the airport right before you get to atlantic ave that never has traffic. Taxis don't like (won't) use this because then they don't get the fare from you sitting in traffic but if you know about it you can get there in 10-15 minutes. That being said, I would not bet on this to get you to the airport when it is such a close call. The interview ended at 4 for me but still cutting it close.
I think sometime next week sounds about right, on their website it says within the first 2 weeks of every month they do a review
When did you submit your secondary? I submitted mine in mid-August and my status is still under review. I had an interview with them last year so I was pretty sure that I would have an interview this year. Does it usually take this long to hear back or am I in the "reject later" pile?
Submitted secondary early August, II mid September, IA early-mid October. I couldn't say what the ADCOM is up to--it doesn't seem like many people have gotten II yet to Tufts. Waiting is the worst part of this process...

not yet. called Tufts the other day and they said if I don't get a notice by the end of the month, give them a call. IA late september.

No they don't. I'm scheduled to interview on a Thursday. I think I mainly saw Tuesdays and Thursdays available but I'm sure if that is all they offer or if the other days were taken.
Tuesdays and Thursdays are the only interview days.
This is true. I just called and confirmed, 1st decisions will be going out 1st week of December.

I skimmed through the forum, but didn't see anyone comment about the actual interview. Maybe I missed it, but if not-- does any one know the format of the interview? Prepping for Tuesday interview! Thanks!
2x 30 minute (whoever is available) interviews (open file). They were relaxing/talk about yourself type stuff though (I mean not as relax talk about anything as some others, but nothing to write home about).

Many people on my day had two faculty interviews rather than one faculty one student.

as a reapp, I remember Tufts being one of the first secondaries, but one of the last to inform you of pre-interview rejections. Sigh.

Same here. I interviewed the last week of September. I called a week ago, and the admissions people said that we will hear the second week of December. Good Luck!

Just called them... the word should be out 2nd week of December ... I REAAAALLLLYYYY hope this is the last delay! I really really really want to get into this school!!!

Was that just for your interview date? I interviewed 10/18 and I'm dying to hear back from them; hopefully I'll at least get on the waitlist...

I had called Tuesday and got the same answer. He did say the second week of December at the latest though, so hopefully we'll hear a little sooner. I interviewed the first week of October.
