Complete 8/2 and still awaiting a rejection. My stats are much lower than those who got rejected recently. Once they get to my application I'll be rejected.

I don't think so, if you were complete way back then, they probably looked over your app, but decided not to reject or invite and will go back and look at you later. Your're still in the running.

Went back and added UCI to my primary in late August/early September... Still waiting for a secondary. Is it acceptable to call and ask or should I just keep waiting? =/ GPA around school average/ slightly below, MCAT 37Q

At one point I found a link via UCI's website that had a graph of secondaries-->interview-->accepted. I can't find the link now (maybe it was an outdated website?) Anyway, I think ~50% interviewed were accepted.

I'm personally still waiting to hear back from my interview in late october...buuuuuut.

Dr. Peterson did say that within each interview group, about 1/3 gets accepted outright, the rest gets placed on alternate list

Interview 9/17. OOS. MCAT 35O. sGPA 4.0. cGPA 3.94. Good ECs.

Has anyone who's applied early, received a secondary lately? I was verified early July and still waiting. Just wanted to gauge my chances.

This is reassuring... I was verified early August and haven't received a secondary!

I don't know what gives, I have lower stats than a lot of these denials, been verified since 7/18, and they don't give silent denials? Under review for months at my #1 choice, my fathers medical alma mater and I'm dying here! Do they keep people under this status until April?
