Has anyone who interviewed in mid-December received a decision yet?
Thanks!
Thanks!
That's too bad.... They told those who interviewed in mid-December that we should be hearing back in early February. I hope that still holds... I'm really hoping to get some good news from them!
got my first rejection from Georgetown (about a week ago)... and it hurt
When did you interview?
Oh, sorry to hear thatThis was a pre-interview rejection
Well, it sounds like decisions are about to be rolled out at Georgetown. Anxiously awaiting the news, but hoping for the best.
I received an II on 2/3 for the week of March 13, and when I asked if I could interview the following Monday to avoid missing finals, I was told that they were not interviewing after that week.Anyone know if Georgetown is finished Interviewing?
how do you figure?! this is exciting!
From calling them earlier in the month, I think people should be hearing back this week and next. Many decisions have been made, but the person who communicates these decisions to students has been out... I'm not quite sure what is going on, but just know that there is a backlog of decisions that still need to be communicated to students.Has anyone heard back post-interview lately? If so when did you interview?
I know the GT forum is usually not too responsive, but I'll give it a try again.. has anybody been able to submit the 'hold the seat' deposit yet?

I interviewed in mid-December. I emailed Mrs. Sullivan directly 2 weeks ago. She said that my decision was mail last week and to expect it this week.
Yes, I have been accepted but in the acceptance email they said specifically: 'You must submit a deposit of $500 by June 1, 2014. Please note that the School of Medicine will not accept deposits until January 2014. The Office of Admissions will notify you when deposits are being accepted."Have you been accepted? I know only those who were accepted officially can put down a deposit. If so, you should have been able to do it right away, or once you received your further info
Huh, what date did you interview?
Ok, I'm confused. I interviewed on 12/19... I thought it went really well, but maybe I'm just getting a rejection letter. That would be tough... My fiance is interviewing at University of MD for PhD program, and I'm pretty sure she'll get in. Georgetown was at the top of my list for several reasons, but the opportunity for us to stay together was the deal-breaker. Getting nervous.I interviewed on 12/17.
I got a phone call followed by email when I was accepted. No snailmailso do all decisions come via snail mail?

I emailed Mrs. Sullivan. She said my decision was mailed last week and that I will receive it this week. So hopefully you will hear some good news soon. So I tried to follow the instructions sent to us by the school:
"Visit http://hoyamail.georgetown.edu for information about and access to Hoyamail, your student e-mail account". Have you guys been able to get to this website? I keep getting an error message.
I have my netID and I already changed my password. This link above is specifically to get to school email. Were you able to get there? If you click the google apps link you should be able to sign in using your GU NetID. I think if you log onto the secondary website there are instructions under post-submissions tab to set up your NetID and create a password, etc.
