Does anyone know the last day they will meet for acceptances? According to last year it was March 20th, and EVERYONE would know about their status by April 15ish. I wonder if they were affected by the snow like other schools were...

I don't know the last day the committee will meet but what other schools were affected by the snow?

Well both PCOMS were shut down because of a snow storm.

I was accepted early decision with a 3.4. I had heard that 3.41 was the mean GPA for early decision but I don't know for sure.

A few competitive residency matches. I saw one for Derm and a few for orthopedics.

The list doesn't say how many of these students were offered rescue deals though.

I was waitlisted today (interviewed October), I had assumed I was likely going to be rejected. It's funny, admissions told me this morning that I would not hear until the end of the week! Anyone know how large the waitlist is?

I also interviewed in October and was waitlisted. Anyone know if we will get a confirmation email about accepting the waitlist, and anyone know how many people are typically accepted off the waitlist? I couldn't get a good idea reading the thread from last year. Anyways, good luck to you all!

Is alternate list the same as waitlist?

If so, I have also been waitlisted and I also interviewed in October.

I had to call about to the alternate list because I had never gotten the email and was wondering if that meant I was rejected. They said the email went out yesterday but that I was on the alternate list and should have gotten it. So they resent it and I have received it.

(Alternate list is what mercer calls their waiting list, so I'm sorry if I alarmed someone with terminology!)
