I got an ii on Nov 14, app was complete with all forms around Nov. 6 I think? Interview on Jan. 16!

Gpa: 3.6 MCAT: 33

Unfortunately I got rolled over into regular applicant pool :/ this is my first yr applying to med school and honestly it seemed like everyone in my group was re applicants- but that's no excuse for me not getting in I think my MCAT majorly held me back bc I felt like interview went great and all my experiences and essays were catered to their mission
 
Did anyone get accepted from the last regular pool adcom meeting? Trying to get an idea of how many seats are left.

From my impression at the interview (12/3) , the admissions committee (I believe) meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, or very close to that time. I know they told me that the next meeting would be December 18th, and they'd make phone calls that afternoon or on Thursday morning. As of a couple weeks ago, they told me that they had accepted 60 people, leaving at least 40 more seats open, but it's also likely that many people holding acceptances could go other places. I was just invited for an interview via email. I spoke with Ms. Coleman and learned that the earliest date in Macon was February 11 or 13, so I opted for a Savannah date. I'll be there January 23.
 
So all that interviewed in nov should find out tomorrow afternoon?
 
I heard from a student that they don't meet til 5pm today...so give it sometime. Post if u hear anything!
 
I interviewed December 5th and got accepted tonight around 7:00. I was told that 9 individuals were accepted at tonight's meeting. Good luck everyone!

I actually got a call just now from my interviewer and got accepted!! 🙂 Good luck to everyone waiting! and if youre wondering I had quite a low MCAT so stay hopeful!! I made a 7 on physical sciences and 28 overall so anything is possible!
 
Any waitlist acceptances here? I interviewed EDP and was wondering if I should still be holding onto any hope of a surprise waitlist pull... :-/

The waitlist doesn't come out until the end of the cycle so if you weren't accepted EDP you've got a chance the regular pool. I wouldn't give up just yet. Good luck!

EDP applicant rolled over into the regular pool. Wondering if I should still hold out hope even though I have not heard anything?
 
Still no word for me. I was interviewed last year and this year both times very early in the cycle. As I recall Mercer does not tell you when you are rejected as I never did get an email or notification last year saying anything.

I interviewed last year as well. I got my rejection on 4/3/13 from them via email. I interviewed EDP this cycle and am waiting to hear back. I assume I won't hear anything until around that date. I hope that helps all the anxious people about when they will hear about their status.
 
I applied late (November) and haven't heard anything back yet...does anyone know if the school is still offering interviews or if the class is pretty much full already?

I believe they interview all the way through February, and possibly early March. The last meeting for the admissions committee is in March and that is around the time you will hear something about if you're on the wait-list or you are rejected. Good luck!
 
Does anybody know if the committee is meeting this week or next? Also, does anyone get rejected before April, or do we have to wait until the waitlist comes out in April, to know if we've been rejected?
 
Anyone know if they are still giving out interviews?

Interesting as I was never emailed a rejection from them last year. Seriously. Not even telling me I was on the waitlist or anything. Just like MCG never sent me a rejection but at least I in that case knew I was on the waitlist.

Pretty sure at my interview, they told me that they will be meeting the 22nd of this month and announcing accepted applicants on the 23rd.
 
I called the Savannah campus (where I interviewed) and spoke to Sabina the admissions sec there. I wanted to see if she had received my application updates I had sent over. She told me that for EDP if you were rolled over that you are brought up each adcom meeting and that there were 3 adcom meetings left: 1 next wednesday, 1 in feb and 1 more in march so we have 3 more chances. Yes it is interesting. Something to remember is many of the "applicants" on this thread are not really applicants but faculty members pretending to be applicants.
 
Just got another interview invite from an OOS. I'm waiting for the committee meeting this Wed before I RSPV since I'll have to travel and Mercer is still my #1 choice. We'll see how this goes. Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know how their 3rd and 4th year rotations are set up? Are they all in Macon, or do they have other sites set elsewhere? I haven't seen that topic on this thread...

Your rotations are at the campus you did your first two years (Macon or Savanna) but you also have the option of going to Columbia if you wanted to.
 
Thought I should finally post since I read this so much. But no not yet.
