2013-2014 Tulane University Application Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Well, Tulane just sent out a genetics grad program (probably accidentally) showing emails for the entire waitlist. Pasted it into Word--5 pages of names, row count is 243.

I withdrew and I'm still on their list. They were also the only school that didn't respond to my withdraw request. :shrug:

Wow, I got accepted off the waitlist four days ago but had no idea! I just received an email to my inbox about financial aid that said I'd been accepted and went back and checked my spam. I'm absolutely ecstatic!

@AKSG congrats!!!

Does anyone know if those of us who have been recently accepted off the waitlist will be getting any additional information from the school besides just the acceptance email/letter?

This is great to hear. I'm a current Teach for America Corps member, so hopefully that helps me get an interview!

I am currently in TFA myself. Tulane and Emory are two schools I have heard from multiple people who love applicants from a TFA background. Have you come across any others?

It's unlikely that you will get a response, since you replied to a post from June 2013 on the first page of this thread. The 2014-2015 Tulane application thread can be found here (link), if that's where you intended to be. Or you may want to private message that individual instead. Good luck with your application cycle!

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted and goodluck to those still waiting to hear back. I know that some of you guys are getting in at the final hour, and wanted to say that we are looking for someone to rent a furnished bedroom in a 3b/2ba home.

We (2 male fourth years) have the place until the end of May (when your 1st year ends) and then we will be leaving/or staying for residency. After that you can either keep the house, keep some of the furniture, or any combination of the above. Rent is 500/month and we split utilities. Message me for details.

Hi! Really love this school, wondering if they take students who've taken the MCAT multiple times?
