OOS A this morning!!

Does anyone know if there is an admitted student Facebook group or GroupMe?
Congrats!! I've seen a lot of people ask and so far i don't think anyone has responded/said that there was.

When did you interview? Also how were you notified of acceptance- email, email that portal had been updated, call, etc?

i have no clue why it happens (i think it might be numbers on the mobile version) but the number/date did not appear in a format that is readable. Was it the sixth, twelfth, or nineteenth?

I'm curious if anyone knows the post-interview acceptance rate for this school? I've been looking everywhere online and can't seem to find anything

i think that would be the matriculation rate, not necessarily the acceptance rate
That's correct. It's just a rough estimate. It can be assumed that they send more acceptances over the course of the cycle than they end up matriculating, but how many more is pure speculation. The percentages at least give you a baseline

yeah. i would say the matriculation data doesnt rlly give a good gauge because i doubt tulane's yield is super super high esp for oos

Just got a secondary application under review email, has there been an established pattern on how long a decision from this takes? Seems like it takes around 2ish months

What are the chances of getting off the hold list? (I haven’t gotten any II and this is my only hold radio silence from 17 schools HELP)
i think small, but not impossible. one or two people on this thread have gotten off. id imagine once they finish reviewing those who were complete near the secondary deadline, we will hear back one way or another

That's a pretty good analysis. Seems like the latest pre-II rejection was reported for someone complete 10/26 (their deadline is 11/01), which means they might be nearing the end... maybe we'll see some holds -> II/R soon?
