For all my fellow WL ppl - I called today and was told the class is full, but the WL is open for the few students who withdraw in June/July. Davis was my top choice and I thought it would be a reach school for me, but it was my first interview and I'm glad I got the chance. Focusing on moving to the east coast now, hope you guys are happy with your year! 🙂

I got the axe today after being waitlisted in February. Good luck to the rest of you out there!

Same. Got rejected after being on the wait list since october. This was my last hope to stay close to home.

Got the axe on monday also. I got a message a few weeks back from dr sousa too, saying he wanted to talk to me. Never picked up my calls back to him, so its weird that he would call just to say im out

You should have followed up if you were interested.

That was my thought when I heard her mention "making a final decision" for multiple acceptance holders. It makes sense too. If I was accepted at another school and then got off the UCD waitlist, I'd wait to see what the total cost would be before committing to one or the other... Good luck to those waiting!

UCD does not give much in the way of scholarships(most get 10-15k for first yr) and UCLA gives full rides.
