So weird. I was complete in November and I interviewed in February. I'm a uiuc alumnus though. I hope that we hear from them soon.
 
Have they ever waited this long to post adcom results? I'm beginning to worry that none of us have heard anything because we are all still wait-listed. Hopefully that's me being too pessimistic lol.

Yettie, try to stay optimistic. If there's one thing I've learned in this process, it's that it moves incredibly slow; many times slower than one could possibly predict. I am sure you and your group will have results soon!
 
Can anyone confirm that they did meet last thurs and not this upcoming one?
 
Mine still says Decision Pending as well. At my interview I asked when I would hear back from them about results and the three people gave me an about 100 word reply that could have been summarized by "I have no idea". I only heard that the results would be posted because another friend who interviewed told me.
 
Status updated today: final decision (from app&pending, no II ). no additional correspondance tab . so yes, there are updates since last weeks meeting! (back to the drawing board... quick question does anyone remember if aug mcat dates are filled up at this point?) back in 2012 it was rediculous trying to get a date and ended up taking it prematurely; this time ill rather take it late and be ready!

My status changed as well to a final decision has been made with no additional correspondence tab. :-( sucha shame
 
Just checked again, and I'm still under 'decision pending.' So it seems like they sent out some pre-interview rejections. Does that mean that they won't have another meeting until april? They might be waiting until May to send out more acceptances.

Interviewed 3/10 - decision pending.

Mentioned they are aiming to get out decisions by end of the month.
 
If I am reading people correctly, decision made with additional correspondence in the corner means either an acceptance or a rejection, while decision made with no additional correspondence means most likely waitlist. Is this correct? If so, doesn't checking the site actually tell us almost nothing?
 
Decision made with additional correspondence can mean either but usually means acceptance. Decision made with no additional correspondence tab most always means rejection. They don't waitlist applicants until the end of May. They simply defer them from adcom meeting to adcom meeting until an eventual decision is made on your application be it an acceptance, rejection or waitlist spot (I know... it's quite the annoying process.)

I called the admission office and they said the committee doesn't tell the admissions office when they meet but they HAVE NOT met in march yet. We should hear something "within the next couple of days."

I dont know what to believe

I just called and spoke to the admission's counselor who takes calls on Thursdays only. He told me that the March meeting did not take place on the third Thursday of the month, however they have just recently met.

Hopefully we will see something change on Friday or Monday!

Lets hope so 🙂. Sounds like they might have waited an extra week to finish up a few interviews. Fingers crossed they met today!
 
anyone's status change to "application is in process"? pretty much means the axe from what I've read :dead:
 
I just got a final decision made. But no additional correspondence tab 🙁. I interviewed around mid January.
 
Is additional correspondence for sure a YES? I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.. Interviewed 2/25

Someone last month had final decision made and no additional correspondence and was accepted... You won't know until you get something in the mail

You won't know til u get something in the mail and it took a week from status change ... Good luck
 
Speaking of getting something in mail, did anyone from the February(24th i think) acceptance list get their site placement card yet?
 
How do you know they updated the results from the march adcom meeting?

Not clear from what XCTF posted that his status changed / or correspondence tab was added. His comment "Is additional correspondence for sure a YES? I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.. Interviewed 2/25"

If I had to guess, the adcom meeting was yesterday (although that's the 4th Thursday of the month which is unusual). They seemed to be updating the status of people who did not receive interviews early this week which might be why they met late. My status definitely was updated this morning. I interviewed around mid January (and unfortunately didn't get an additional correspondence tab which is generally bad news 🙁 ). Based on that and XCTF being updated, I'd say if you haven't heard anything by the end of today that you're still on hold. Good luck with the rest of the process, I know waiting sucks but at least you're still being considered.

Thanks for the input. Sorry about your status and good luck. Question: How do you know your status was definitely updated this morning? Does it say anything on the status page. I interviewed in middle of February and status is same " Decision pending"

Haha I'm a computer science minor so I wrote a program that constantly checked my status and texted me as soon as it changed. It was 10:51:14 am today when mine was updated.
 
So, after finally getting to do my second interview on 3/21 (they told me my first interview evaluations were "inconsistent"), I've finally got a change in my status.

I don't have the additional correspondence tab. Is there any chance of this being anything other than rejection, or is it completely dependent on the letter in the mail?

For now, I'll assume the worst. -_-
 
I went through last years thread and it seems like for most people who weren't accepted in the March meeting, it was a rejection or waitlist in May.
