2013-2014 University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Application Thread

I interviewed early September, and they've released at least two batches of acceptances now. Realistically, what do you all think the chances of an acceptance are at this point? Seems like they've passed me over a couple of times, so I'm just going to resign myself to a rejection.

For those accepted, do you mind shedding light on your adcom/ when you interviewed?
 
Third FAFSA email from UNC. They need to stop teasing me.
 
Has anyone OOS who was complete in September received an ii yet?
 
I received an interview invite last week. OOS complete in early October.
 
Anyone interviewed in early/mid September who is still waiting? I thought they were keeping decisions within 8 weeks...

Yep, at the interview they made it seem like we'd hear something definitive relatively quickly but after looking at past threads it seems more likely we'll either hear an acceptance soon or nothing until a waitlist/rejection late in the cycle.
 
Are we expecting calls to go out tonight? Anyone know what time calls usually go out?

Hopefully? They've not been strictly following the every-other-Monday pattern... But two weeks ago calls started at around this time.
 
From what I have heard in the past, either you are notified of acceptance or get the silent rejection until later in the cycle (2014 in this case). I interviewed the second day of IS interviews and I am still waiting to hear back. Already know of one person who got an acceptance call today (literally 15 min ago). Good luck everyone.

Unfortunately my chances aren't looking so good as I have been passed up a few times. Hope yall have better luck.

Ditto. Although doesn't seem like my ad com has called anyone...oh well.
 
Same situation as y'all- interviewed on the second day of IS interviews, but no call for me

Anyone with Dr Gettes get accepted?
 
Whats the latest that people have been called before? My ad com was Dr. Bright.
 
Mine was Fowler. It seems everyone has different ADCOMs. Haha
 
I had Dr. Vines, but I'm not positive he was the adcom. Can't remember the other person's name.
 
Anyone have Dr. Bashford as their ADCOM? Really enjoyed my interview with him. Interviewed back in October but haven't heard anything. I love Chapel Hill so much. Been praying for the best.

I did! I enjoyed the interview as well, though I interviewed back in Sept, and still haven't heard back yet. I'm also hoping for the best! 🙂

I had Dr. Jenson as my second, but I don't think he was my adcom. Really cool guy though; he took me up during my interview to talk with a program coordinator about the MD/MPH program.
 
yeah interviewed mid october here....hoping to hear the news this week or next. so they've been calling on mondays then?
