Sooo guys for the second look is it business casual or just casual? I was told no jeans a few days ago when I called.

I just got their confirmation email for the second look and they said "dress is casual". So I'm assuming jeans are fine. Personally I'm probably gonna wear cords.

As of now I intend to take a pair of slacks just in case. Hopefully someone can clear it up lol

Jeans are fine!

I know some of the second years that interviewed you guys (myself included) will be there for the lunch.

Hope to see you guys there!

Yeah, the email said casual so I'm wearing jeans. Excited for tomorrow! See you guys there 🙂

Anyone on here get awarded institutional scholarships yet? I got an email today saying that the initial scholarship offers have been made and that they'll continue offering more throughout the summer. Kind of bummed we can't know for sure how much aid we might get until after the April 30th deadline :/

No letter or email yet ......

This wait is killing me.

Can't complain too much since I interview this month but still ..................... I WANT TO KNOW!!!

So is the CCL ranked then? Sorry that this has probably been asked before but after 20 pages of posts I couldn't find an answer.

I believe that it IS ranked, but they keep their ranking/CCL process secret. I called them to ask where I stood on the WL and they said it was highly confidential and they couldn't tell me.

Random question, but is Temple still renaming the medical school?

Where did you hear that it was being renamed? Jefferson, also in Philly, renamed their med school this past year, but I haven't heard anything about Temple doing so.

Sometime last year I thknk they said they were going to name it after Lewis Katz when he donated $25 million to the school. Not sure of it's happened yet, though.

Has anyone actually seen their financial aid award letter after that email from the department went out?

Does anyone know if Temple rejects post-interview or do they just put everyone who isn't accepted on the waitlist? I was put on the waitlist in October, and I'm really curious as to the size of the waitlist.

Yes. I had a late interview in early March and heard nothing since.

I interviewed at St. Luke's on 3/10 and I haven't heard anything.

Lmao Jeff renamed for $100 mil, Temple should not for just 25!

Does anyone know what the class size is at Temple?

210 according to MSAR (if I recall correctly), but I asked when I was at interview and they said that last year Temple got more than usual and they had 215 or more I believe.

I just tried to log in to MSAR to double check and found that my membership has expired. So anyone please correct me if I am off base.

Got an email earlier this week, accepting me off the CCL. I interviewed at St. Lukes in the middle of February. I also went to the Philadelphia campus for an optional tour and was able to speak with someone from the admissions office when she came to visit my school, I never sent an update letter but I think that still helped show my interest in the school. I'm holding an acceptance at one school and on the waitlist for another, so I have some decisions to make (deposit is due 4/24 and refundable until the 30th).

I remember someone saying that the waitlist usually moves in May so maybe this is a good sign for everyone else waiting to hear...hard to say, but I hope that's the case!

I have been sending temple a steady stream of updates since January through the "send us stuff" link. Do you all think it's worth confirming that they have received everything or let it be? I am just nervous since the online system doesn't leave a record of past sent material.

I think it definitely doesn't hurt to call. I was actually curious about that as well since I've sent Temple a couple updates and I can't see any sort of confirmation. I'm probably going to give them a call later today to inquire. I called last week to ask about something else and the admissions person was really open to answering questions.

Quick question, I have my acceptance and tuition deposit all paid but I'm wondering what is the last day that you can withdraw your acceptance? The last to withdraw the deposit is April 30th, so is that the last day? aka Am I locked into Temple Med after April 30th has passed?

You cannot hold multiple acceptances after April 30, but you can remain on other schools' waitlists if you choose. If you are holding an acceptance at Temple after April 30th and you get off the waitlist at a school you wish to attend, you are free to withdraw your acceptance to Temple and accept at that school.

Out of curiosity, has anyone received any financial aid info beyond the generic loan email that went out a few weeks ago?

Really struggling to make a final decision without knowing the full $$ picture!

Thanks for the answer and +4 to the comment from above.

Got my continuing candidate letter today when I got home from work. Interviewed 3/10. I'm glad to finally hear back.

I received an email with a small scholarship offer a few days ago. First sign off life from fin aid since the previous email. Taking it as a hint how the rest of the financial aid award will turn out…
Sadly withdrawing, heading right down the street. Best of luck to everyone!!

Congratulations!! Do you mind sharing your stats and when you submitted your AMCAS app?

Hey so I saw someone above mention April 30th as the date past which you can only hold one acceptance (and the last day to get your seat money returned). I thought that date was May 15?!?

In previous years it was May 15th. However, AMCAS changed it this year to April 30th.
