hi, did you send them any updates?

I did! I interviewed early/mid February at St. Luke's and also attended the interview day at Temple Main. I sent them an update in mid March. I found out that I was waitlisted on 3/18, which means they waitlisted me before receiving my first update (the time stamp on the CCL letter was 3/12). I also sent them another update/love letter in early April and I was actually writing them a letter of intent when I got the acceptance email.

congrats, hope i hear some good news soon!

Just withdrew my acceptance from the St lukes program. Looks like they are already into the ccl so hopefully someone here will hear soon!

I haven't even gotten an email or letter yet and it's been past 6 weeks now...

Hmmmmmmmmmm...

Is there anything besides having paid the tuition deposit to say that we "committed" to Temple? I'm probably going to withdraw my name from the two waitlists I'm on for other schools and I'm just making sure. Do I have to tell them that I'm committing to them? Or does my tuition deposit already imply that?

Your deposit is enough.

CCL movement has already started for the St lukes program... since the last page I believe.

I actually don't know yet which program I've been accepted to--St. Luke's or Temple Main. The email accepting me didn't specify; it just said that more information would follow in the mail.

Did you interview at St. Luke's? If you did I would assume St. Luke's

Yes- I would assume so too, but they said at the interview that it didn't necessarily mean you'd get into that program. But my guess is still that I'm in the St. Luke's program.

oh really? I had no idea. So even if we interviewed at St. Luke's they might put us with the rest of the students staying in Philly for 2 years?

That's what I remember from my interview day. But I'm guessing there's like an 80% chance that we'd be put in St. Luke's.

Als0--in my update letters, I specifically stated how impressed I was with St. Luke's, so I'm fully expecting to be placed there??

My understanding was that the two programs have separate admissions committees, so if you interviewed at St. Luke's, you were only considered for St. Luke's unless you specifically asked to have your application transferred to the main campus pool.

Also, my initial acceptance email also did not specify St. Luke's, but the follow-up letter that arrived a few days later did, so I'd assume your acceptance is St. Luke's.

Oh! you are probably right! I hope you are!

Withdrew today. Good luck to those still in the running and those accepted. I hope to work alongside you guys at some point!

Got the continued candidates letter yesterday. More waiting I guess.....

For those currently attending Temple Med, what are some popular apartments that students in live in around Center City? I'm started to look for apartments.

Just got accepted off of the CCL!!! I interviewed at St. Luke's on 2/17. Sent in my first update letter two days ago so not sure if that made a difference or not. Could not be happier right now!
congrats!! did they notify you through email or phone call?

to people who sent updates through email recently: did they ever respond to you confirming they received it?

Yeah they responded to my email saying that they would forward it to the dean
did they respond pretty quickly? I sent an update in about 2 weeks ago and I still haven't gotten a response. I e-mailed again trying to confirm whether they got my update, but they didn't respond to that neither.

I sent my update last Thursday and received a confirmation/response that same day. I sent the email to both [email protected] and [email protected] (since I interviewed at St. Luke's). The email address that responded back to me was the St. Luke's one not the regular [email protected] address.

May be a dumb question, but if I already graduated last year, do I still need to send transcripts again to the school or do they just take what's on Amcas as the final one?

You still need to send them. AMCAS doesn't release the transcripts to the school.

Late to the punch, but also accepted off of the CCL on Thursday! Interviewed at St. Luke's on 2/3. I basically spent the weekend in a state of absolute acceptance-induced euphoria...

Congrats to those accepted off the CCL! Would you guys be willing to share around what time of the day did you receive the acceptance email? I'm wondering if they send them out at a set time.

Thanks!! Mine came at 17:00.

Congrats everyone! Does St. Lukes have a different admissions committee than the other clinical tracks?
