seems like it is requiredis submitting a photo required or optional for UCSD?
How long did it take for everyone to access their secondary applications? Mine says that the website is "broken." Just panicking because now I have less than 2 weeks left... help
I wonder if applying to prime-hq increases chances of being accepted... if it acts like as if one was applying to two different schools
I hate you all
IS no secondary

Anyone else a little unimpressed by the school after the typos in the secondary and in the email about the photo problem? I mean you're a top class medical school UCSD, I was expecting better. Maybe that means we can get away with typos too?
6/6 🙁

I don't judge a school by their administrative difficulties. I judge it based on its educational qualities, including research opportunities and mentoring focus. So no, I'm not at all unimpressed. Frankly, it gives me time to work on other secondaries.
You should tolerate a school's minor flaws insofar as you hope that they can tolerate yours.
You're right, it's totally acceptable to be an academic institution and forget basic grammar. No biggie...

Relax big guy! He probably wrote that message from his iPhone while drinking a beer on the beach.😀
You have a good point, no matter what happens, their school is still on the beach in La Jolla.
The email said he'd email us all when the issue was resolved. Besides, you still can't pay your fee until later this week so submitting would not make much of a differenceAnyone able to upload the photo? I know they said they will work on it today but it's still not working from my side and wanted to know if any of you had any luck!
I'm ready to submit but this darn photo :/
Exact sameI am now able to upload my picture... But the final review button isn't working. Anyone else having the same issue?

Update: Final Review is now working. Submission is not.
Oh man just the thought of 4 years studying in La Jolla - seriously, they can make all the writing errors that they'd like.... that setting is just too insane to complain about anything related to UCSD.
Just submitted! Still unable to pay, but the secondary itself is in 🙂

did you submit without a photo?
or specifically, it seems prime program are targeted to a serving the underserved where the specific school is located. what makes lets say someone from another part of california suddenly interested in helping specifically underserved communities around La Jolla, despite ample experience.it doesnt. if you don't have legitimate interest in that program and a large amount of experience to prove it, it's not going to fly, either.
If you're thinking of applying to a PRIME program solely to increase your chances of getting in: Don't. That's not the purpose of these programs and they'll see right through you.or specifically, it seems prime program are targeted to a serving the underserved where the specific school is located. what makes lets say someone from another part of california suddenly interested in helping specifically underserved communities around La Jolla, despite ample experience.
Thanks.
