2014-2015 University of Colorado Application Thread

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Sorry to hear about the rejections today, and about the minimal waitlist movement this year. I think it just goes to show how great a school CU is, and how strong all the applicants are. Even if it doesn't work out for us all this year, I feel confident we will all make it work soon and it will all be for the best! Good luck to everyone with their current and future endeavors

Also an IS rejection of high waitlist. In some ways, it's nice to have some closure. I'm with @Mellipooh ... full steam ahead on the secondaries and working mad hours to get some money saved up!

IS high waitlist. One one hand I'm still alive. On the other, it would be really nice to be able to plan for next year if I end up rejected.

I feel your pain. At this point I am just assuming that everyone is committed and there won't be any movement. It has seemed more productive for a while to go with that mindset than to sit around and wait. Right now it's all secondaries, all the time. Good luck to everyone as they are getting ready to start classes, or are looking ahead at another cycle!

Good luck to everyone out there still on the wait list.

Quick question. Are there any rural track students out there willing to PM with a prospective student regarding the program?

I am a current applicant and very interested in the rural track.

Thanks!

How many other people are still on the waiting list? Are they just slow sending out final rejections, or are they keeping a very small handful of students that could attend with last minutes notice (I live a mile away from campus). Being in limbo is getting a little obnoxious.

Yesterday was the start of orientation so I would say it is probably over barring a miracle unfortunately.

I'm still on the waitlist. They will send out rejections the first week of classes. Last I spoke to admissions, they said we are being kept "in case of jumpers"

Yep, I just got my rejection. Time to keep moving forward with everything else until next year. Hopefully being kept this late is a good sign for the current application cycle.

Anyone here know if the CU secondary asks about sealed and dismissed records?

Also, just for future waitlisters, someone was pulled off of the WL a week into classes after someone dropped out.
