Hello everyone! I forgot to post but my interview was bumped up to Nov. 3rd and I got a prematch today!!!

Hey 🙂 What time did you receive your email?
I'm also curious about this... Interviewed November 10. No prematch. Wondering if they hadn't processed us Nov. 10 people or if I just didn't get it. Any Nov 10 interviewers hear back?So if we didn't pre-match, and we interviewed before Nov 15th, does that mean it's a silent rejection/waitlist? Or is match day for people who didn't get a pre-match as well as those who interviewed late? 🙁
I hope you're right! That's what I was thinking but it's good to hear someone else say it.I think yours is a little late for pre-matching on the 15th! You might hear back sometime this week or later though 🙂 I interviewed Oct. 20th, so mine was def processed and I just didn't get it.
I did!Has anyone received the email from Dr Jones about financial aid?
I did!
me too... and an email from a student... just a keep in touch email.I did!
Right, I got the same email. Did you interview November 17th?just to confirm, everyone receives the email from dr. jones saying, " I am personally very pleased with your interview...." and we can expect the next batch of prematches after thanksgiving? looking through last year's thread, it was early dec.
Right, I got the same email. Did you interview November 17th?
First off, congrats! Second, I had my first interview here. It was a really fun experience for most of it, although my last half hour, I had a stress interview that really, well, stressed me out and I walked out feeling pretty badly. My first interview had been really conversational (and actually quite complimentary) and it was my first interview, so I was pretty unprepared for the tougher second interview. Therefore, I would just advise that you be prepared for anything that comes at you. Don't be thrown off by a tough interviewer, keep your calm and remember your answers that you undoubtedly practiced. Besides that, I would just say to really look at your personal statement and optional essays so you're able to talk to them. I got asked LOTS of questions about those. Good luck! This school is awesome!Hey guys, I have an interview coming up on December 1st (my first). Do you have any interview advice/tips? Thanks a lot!
Thank you very much for your response. Yikes! How was the second interview stressful? (if you can respond without revealing too many details haha). I read my Personal Statement and optional essays today and I will take your advice on remaining calm. Have you heard back anything post interview?First off, congrats! I'm hoping after thanksgiving maybe some offers for OOS will go out... with so few seats left it's hard to have very much hope tho 🙁Have any OOS applicants who have not heard back called and asked for an update? I kind of see the writing on the wall, but it would be nice to know for sure!
Me too! San Antonio is hands down my #1, being OOS makes it SO HARD to get in.I'm hoping after thanksgiving maybe some offers for OOS will go out... with so few seats left it's hard to have very much hope tho 🙁
I interviewed the same day and mine still haven't popped up on TMDSAS. I hope that doesn't mean anything! Both the SA and South Texas Clin Ed sites have popped up on TMDSAS after interviewing on 11/17! I'll echo the above and say that I hope some good news comes our way soon. After looking through last years thread, the next big batch of pre-match offers went out on 12/10, 12/19 and 12/31. The 12/10 batch included people that interviewed close first round of pre match, so the people that interviewed 11/10 of this year.
Thanks for the advice!I was lucky to have had opportunities to interview here last year and this year. I had wonderful interview experiences both times! UTHSCSA is my top choice! All my interviewers were friendly and the interviews were conversational. Be yourself. Common advice--don't just say what you think they want to hear.
I have not received an acceptance yet, but the South Texas campus hasn't shown up for me either. For those who have been accepted and received the prematch. Did San Antonio and the south texas campus show up on the ranking? I am awaiting the prematch offer and only have the San Antonio location in my school ranking.

Nope! Here's hoping the second batch of prematch offers goes out soon!Any movement/updates regarding prematch?

It shows up if you interviewedYes it eventually showed up when I prematched. After I did declined my prematch offer it went away, so I'm assuming it goes with the prematch offer.
I definitely got the follow up email, but I think everyone does.Has anyone gotten a pre-match offer this week so far? Also, did any of you guys get a second follow-up email from a UTHSCSA student this week?
I am out of state and would love an acceptance! This was definitely my favorite school I interviewed at. Perhaps a few more will come...any oos acceptances? They've probably filled the class already by now... 🙁
Congrats!!! Mind sharing your LizzyM and when you interviewed?I am in state and just got an acceptance email!
It was really fun and casual. It's just networking with the students with really good food. I would suggest attending. To those who have interviewed and/or current students, what did y'all think of the Sunday social? Any tips?
I interviewed in August. LizzyM is 31. I sent them an email regarding my intent and an update recently. So if it is a top pick for you, I recommend letting them know how much you want to be there. Just be genuine.Congrats!!! Mind sharing your LizzyM and when you interviewed?
