i also had the option when i signed up but it's gone for me also. hmm...
 
I was complete 7.23 but no word yet. Hoping to hear something soon. Congrats to all who got II already!

II last Wednesday! Complete 7/22, LizzyM 71. I have a friend who's an incoming M1 and he wrote a lovely email detailing all the things he loved about the school, which just got me super excited. I think I'm going to stay at the hotel that has the shuttle service--definitely don't want to leave things up to my instinctual late-ness.

Can't wait to meet other people!

I had this happen, too. I called to ask about it and they said they'd had to remove it. The man I spoke to said that if you are interested in student hosting to send admissions an email and they'll see what they can do, but they can't guarantee a host.
 
I got an II here this past Wednesday! LizzyM ~74, complete 7/12, OOS. Very excited after reading all the great things that have been said about this school.

Congrats on the II and the quick turnaround! All quiet for me since 7/23...Good to see that they're starting to give out II, though. Good luck everyone that is still in the running!

Hey guys!

Congrats to all those with interview invites, it's very exciting and I wish you all the best of luck.

I had a question considering the interview format that I didn't see answered in this thread or on the website when I checked.

Are the two interviews open or closed file? Also, how long is each interview?

Well my primary is in and verified, I just contemplating sending it in to Hofstra... I am not sure if I am pressing my luck.

But what I meant by pressing my luck is that it's too late in the cycle to bother.
 
For what it's worth, I just submitted mine! personally don't see bright prospects...cause that challenge essay was a doozy...but can't hurt to try! haha

I'm not quite sure what is considered as extensive research, but I got an invite with less than one year (<500hrs) of research. I have leadership and extracurricular activities to balance it out tho

Thanks for sharing! Been complete since 7/20 or so with no word. Have great grades and extracurriculars but crap MCAT (28), crossing my fingers.
 
Anyone know what's the best airport to fly in/out of in December? I was thinking of spending a couple extra nights in NYC with my best friend as well. Price is a big factor for me.
