Yes, I chose that option when I set up my interview. But when I went back to check just now, I don't see that option anymore. I'm not sure if that just removed it because I chose it or because they wanted to discontinue it.

i also had the option when i signed up but it's gone for me also. hmm...

II last Wednesday! Complete 7/22, LizzyM 71. I have a friend who's an incoming M1 and he wrote a lovely email detailing all the things he loved about the school, which just got me super excited. I think I'm going to stay at the hotel that has the shuttle service--definitely don't want to leave things up to my instinctual late-ness.

Can't wait to meet other people!

I had this happen, too. I called to ask about it and they said they'd had to remove it. The man I spoke to said that if you are interested in student hosting to send admissions an email and they'll see what they can do, but they can't guarantee a host.

It's a medical school application. You're always pressing your luck.

If you don't apply, however, your chances are automatically 0%.

I'm not quite sure what is considered as extensive research, but I got an invite with less than one year (<500hrs) of research. I have leadership and extracurricular activities to balance it out tho

II just now! Bad GPA with upward trend and strong postbac year, MCAT 29, URM, OOS (CA), complete 7/9. Apparently my ECs and letters are carrying me through.

Thanks for sharing! Been complete since 7/20 or so with no word. Have great grades and extracurriculars but crap MCAT (28), crossing my fingers.

Anyone know what's the best airport to fly in/out of in December? I was thinking of spending a couple extra nights in NYC with my best friend as well. Price is a big factor for me.
