Not my best, not my worst. I thought I came off pretty nervous for the mini interview🙁 sorry limbo. How did you think your interview went?

Maybe the mini station and pre interview stuff counts for a lot more than I expected. I had 2 great interviews and was still placed on hold 🙁
I would agree on the pre-interview stats being important to Irvine. I interviewed in late August and had 2 very solid interviews, but I'm holding on to below average numbers for this school. I was put on alternate list after the first decision.Maybe the mini station and pre interview stuff counts for a lot more than I expected. I had 2 great interviews and was still placed on hold 🙁

How is a 70 LM below average? Isn't that around a 3.7/33? Seems impressive to me!
I think he meant in relation to the accepted students for UCI. I second his hypothesis, as my stats were also below average and I'm an alternate lister. Only category I was above their accepted stats was sGPA. I didn't do badly on my faculty interview, but I didn't blow them away either (but I'm pretty sure I did well on the mini interview and student interview)

if it makes you guys feel any better, I'm over their average stats (LizzyM 78) and I was also waitlisted haha I thought my interviews went pretty well too 😳 this whole process is such a crapshootWow I'm devastated. Love this school but stats are below.
I called in, and UCI says that they're receptive to updates and LOI prior to May, even post-interview... Is this accurate?
I remember Dr. Peterson on interview day said that you should only update if it was something substantial, and the thread here says to only send the LOI during May. So...what do...
I sent two so far (both pre-II) re: publications and was told they will add these to my file.Yeah she told us only to send one if you won a nobel prize or something like that.... now I'm confused too

Congrats! What dates are left?
Got an acceptance call today at 3pm from the Dean. I was thrilled! I interviewed ~12/15, and we were told we would hear back this past week or this coming week.
congrats! what dates are available?Submitted secondary 7/18 and FINALLLYYY received an interview last night on 1/31. Very strange how long it took.
I would suggest waiting until April. Most people should have a better idea of whether they are for sure committing to UCI by then and will be looking for roommates. Someone will organize a google doc on the Facebook group where people looking for roommates can coordinate housing plans based on similar preferences. We will also be sending out a welcome guide with information on various topics like housing, OC life, campus culture, etc. Reading the guide will give you a better idea of different housing options available since current students will provide some insights on where they currently live in that guide. Keep an eye out for it in the next 2 months! When is the best time to start looking for roommates/housing? Is it too early considering UCI interviews until April?
congrats! what dates are available?
whats that?Has anyone had any luck with an ITA email?
Just received a last minute II! What an honor. I am so excited.
(Completed 10/20/2015)
Hi Brian, did you see what interview dates were left/available?
How late does Irvine send out II's? #livingonaprayer
Does anyone know if UCI gives merit aid?
From the 13-14 and 14-15 threads, it seems that UCI keeps giving out II until the end of March. +1 livin'onaprayer
Early May. Interestingly, the new MSAR says that around 75 out of 200 waitlisters ultimately get accepted. Seems a bit high, not to mention that there's apparently very little waitlist movement according to some of the earlier posts in this thread. Hopefully, the MSAR numbers are correct because I really want to stay in CA and 75/200 sounds like a good shot.when does the waitlist open?
