The "hold" box that you see on the bottom right of your image will be colored in.

Nothing specific for Pritzker apart from doing some research on the school beforehand. Know your application well and be able to talk about anything you included there. Apart from that, be yourself, be friendly, and don't be a tryhard. The interview day is relaxed.

Oh, and take the student interview seriously. Students do fill out evaluations and they are taken just as seriously as the evaluations completed by faculty and the admin interview when you get reviewed by the committee. A bad student interview can and will sink you. Don't be fooled by thinking the student interview is a time to be inappropriate. Seems obvious yet there are people that don't seem to understand that every year.
 
Am I shooting myself in the foot by leaving 'additional information' blank?

I've pretty much given all of my information through the secondaries and amcas primary

In the interview invite email they mention that it can be stored in the office for the day

Yes, your luggage can be stored in the admissions office during the interview day.

This is not Pritzker-specific (and unfortunately I might not even get an interview there) but would it be frowned upon if my carry-on that needed to be stored was lime green?

Based on the interview clothing thread, it sounds like the color of clothing (and purses) matters, so I'm sorry but everything worries me now. I just don't want to be "the girl with the green suitcase" on next year's threads.

Yeah but those other items are brought with you into the interview room itself so that's why they matter. Luggage is something a little different. : )
 
May I ask what date did you complete your app?

pritzker website says complete 7/20 but i'm pretty sure my committee letter wasn't uploaded until 7/30 or so

Hey guys, I just realized that I needed to choose between two options under "My Recs" (committee letter vs other). I submitted the secondary 5 days ago, but didn't choose this preference until today. The "Recs" box is still grey. Do you think they might have received my recs but didn't highlight the "Recs" box because I hadn't selected my preference? Should I contact them?

Edit: Checked "my history" and it says my secondary was marked complete 4 days ago (submitted and locked 5 days ago)

It took about 12 business days to have my recs marked as complete at the beginning of July, and things tend to take longer as the season goes on. I believe on their application it says to give 10-14 business days, although all schools are starting to blur together.
 
For any of you who will be interviewing here, you will absolutely LOVE it. Easily one of the most comfortable interview settings I've been at, and everyone here seems genuinely nice and in love with the school. I'll be writing up my experience on my MD apps soon, and it should be up tomorrow night. (Also, if you were there yesterday, let me know! I was the one with the crimson shirt. 😉 )

EDIT: The review/impression is up! 🙂

^ agreed 🙂 it was awesome. was there a bit before, so we didn't overlap, but yeah it was an incredible experience.

Also to anyone else, This school is amazing. No longer any question as to why they are consistently ranked as one of the best. The faculty and students literally treated you as if you were accepted already, and the sense of community was ridiculously palpable. This is my undisputed top choice. The Interview is so low key, and the deep dish pizza is delicious. I'm in love with U Chicago.

we used to get actual photos printed out to take home at the end of the day

Glad everyone is having a good time interviewing. Sorry I wasn't able to stop by to any of the interview things(or interview any of you!), I am currently up in Evanston at Northshore on a rotation. Always available to help answer questions though if anything comes up, just let me know!
 
I already completed my secondary app but they say they still haven't recieved my recs yet (recs is uncolored in portal). Is this normal? I've submitted recs through AMCAS like three weeks ago and completed the secondary last week.

It took mine about a week after I submitted my secondary (I emailed them prior to check, and they told me it can take a few days to load).
