Ya I missed the rejection to :/ How late do they interview?

Didn't someone say that people from Fall interview groups would know their status (accepted/WL/rejected) by December/January? Does anyone know if this is true?
Did anyone call the admissions office to verify or update this claim?

Turns out those rejections were in my spam, BUT they were not addressed to me and had different names of other people. That really sucks. So I'm hoping I still actually missed this rejection haha?

Got the official axe today, GL to everyone else!

lmao they literally sent over 300 peoples' rejections to my, and presumably many others' email. Wow talk about a cluster **** - I think we all deserve apologetic acceptances given what has happened.

They did it again??

@claduva94 do you know if there's any word on when Second Look/CS branch preview weekend is? Tried emailing the admissions office about a week ago without any response.

Does anyone know if there have been any acceptances for the people that interviewed January 8th?

Yes! Let me see if I can find it in my email...
Second look is on April 8th. Springs Branch is the day after if it is anything like last year.
Does this school offer much merit based aid for OOSers?
I think it is almost entirely need based. Two exceptions are the springs students get $5000 a year and you can apply to merit scholarships that are restricted to just CU.

Does anyone know if anybody has been rejected or waitlisted post-interview yet? Or have they only informed those that have been accepted? If not, when do they plan on informing those who have not been accepted yet. I thought they told us during the interview date that we would be informed of whatever decision a month from the interview.

That is only acceptances. They look at the whole pool from all the interviews before making a waitlist. Only a very small proportion get in outright.

Do you have any idea as to when those wait list, rejections, and other acceptance decisions might go out? Any chance they'll get to it early March versus end of March?

withdrew from my 2/12 interview today. CU is just too expensive for me being out of state. I hope one of you gals or guys gets my spot and good luck to everybody!

Last year it was Late February-Early March I believe but I know the goal was to get them out sooner than that this year. But when you have so many applications to go through things tont always go according to that plan.

I thought they were having a meeting today? Did anyone get accepted? Or anything?

Just to chime in here, I double checked my email from Dr. Wallace, and I guess second look day for the Colorado Springs Branch is Thursday, April 7th, the day before the main campus second look day. Hopefully we'll be hearing more from the admissions department soon. =)

Thanks claduva94 for your continued presence on this forum and keeping us updated! I know I really appreciate it, as I'm sure we all do.

I have a feeling they're comin' today guys and gals. I'll be staring a hole right through my phone all day at work... Make sure you guys post if you get an acceptance call!

The Springs 2nd look day has been the day before the main campus 2nd look day for the last 2 years. I'd imagine it will be the same this year.

this is way behind but does anyone know if this school will accept writing intensive classes to fulfill their writing requirement? I'm looking to drop a class but then I may not meet this requirement

For those who have already interviewed, did you get an email with more information about your interview day when you scheduled your interview or a week before your interview? I am about 2.5 weeks away from my interview here and I have not received any correspondence from Colorado since scheduling my interview a couple months ago.

edit: nvm. I just reread my confirmation email.

I got away with it. Just contact admissions.

Does this school send waitlist/ rejection emails or do they leave you hanging for a while?

I emailed them last week. Here's their response: "We are currently working on sending out more invites as well as rejections over the next month. Thank you for your patience during this time."
Thanks for sharing! I guess I can't say it's something to look forward to but it's good to know where you stand.

Next Ad com meeting is on the 5th? I think they mentioned this during the interview but I wanted to double check

Those of us who are still waiting on possible acceptance calls, *fingers crossed*, the Office of Student life says there are still about 90 spots available in the entering class. That's half the class.... so.... we still got a chance 😛

Hey, has anyone gotten any emails from CUSOM post-acceptance, regarding information about the academic year? I haven't received anything so far, not even a certiphi notification.

I'm going to be honest. I love this school. But they aren't exactly the best about giving information for the academic year. You will start getting info about orientation during the summer and info about classes during orientation. Sometimes they tell you day of where you are supposed to be going. That said, they are very accommodating and helpful and it is hardly an issue.

Feb 5th sounds right to me. I know they said they held adcom meetings on the same day as interviews, but I couldn't remember if they said the next date was the first friday of february or the second...

Is U of Colorado done sending out II? Any info on the possibility of receiving an II?
