Does anyone know if, should we be accepted and matriculate, we can establish CO residency and switch to instate tuition?

You can not. You sign a form stating you will pay OOS tuition all 4 years.

Yes! Phew! Got on this thread to see if anyone else was waiting for their payment to be processed. I also paid three weeks ago, wanted to make sure I wasn't alone in this matter.

Does anyone know what "special processing" means? I called admissions and that was where my application was at. I was verified in June. My new MCAT scores were received yesterday.

I just called and they said that pending payments should be processed no later than Tuesday of next week. So you all might want to hold off on bombarding them with calls until then.

Last year first day of interviews was 9/12 (I think I remember being told we were the first group), received invite on 9/5.

I expressed doubt about the culture of the school and how I would fit in after going to interview day, nothing tangible just didn't get the right vibes. Decided to matriculate here anyway for a variety of reasons but I am so glad I did! Absolutely love the people in the class, the faculty and the campus! Couldn't be happier with my choice!

They notoriously take longer than other schools with the admissions process so just be patient, they really do take the holistic aspect to heart! Any questions feel free to PM me (I'm only an MS1 so I may not be overly helpful lol)

Looking at last year's thread, it looks like the first IIs went out on 8/27 and the first reported interview was on 9/5/14.

Just an FYI: these are likely for the psychiatry curriculum, patients come to the education building to be interviewed by medical students. The 2nd years start these at the beginning of the year.

I just called. They were extremely helpful and said it looks like the system may be delayed in updating. I submitted 8/9 with no processing, so I was similarly worried.

Did they give you an expected timeline at all? I have been trying to avoid bombarding them with phone calls, though given that this is my top choice school, I can't help but be a little bit overeager to get my app into review! 🙂

I just called and the guy put my application under review. It seems like they're not very organized with processing people on time. I would call and get yours changed if you waited way over the 7-10 days.

I think last year it was every Friday, through February, except like holidays and stuff.

We have an ex investment banker in our class and the vast majority of my class is non-trads. That said, they definitely take a holistic view and I don't think any group of applicants has an inherent advantage.

Submitted on 8/24 and it wasn't marked as complete 11 days later. I called the office and a delightful lady said she would take care of it for me and apologized. She was very sweet. Anyways, I checked the status again 10 minutes later and it was marked as complete.

Should come out any day now. Interviews start a week from Friday unless things have been delayed.

Since the first round of interviews are next Friday, I'm guessing IIs should be coming out maybe today, most likely tomorrow.
