Yeah, the last update on my portal is stating that my interview has been scheduled, and that was in December. I also sent thank you notes btw, so I doubt that is it lol.

Mine doesn't even say that, and I interviewed in November! My last status update on the portal says, "We have received your CU Online Secondary Application payment. Your application is under review by the Admissions Committee."

FWIW, my portal jumped straight from 'your interview has been scheduled' to 'you've been accepted' without any 'thank you for interviewing' in between, so I wouldn't worry about any implications of it not updating--I think they're just a little inconsistent with that.

Mine still says that as well, and I interviewed in October.
 
Just accepted! In-state, interviewed 9/18, (3.7, 34, reapplicant, high priority waitlist last year). I hope to see you all in the fall! Stay strong if you're waiting to hear <3

Top third waitlist as well. Not holding my breath, as I have several friends who were HPWL last year who didn't make it.
 
Anyone have any idea how many people are on the waitlist total? Did anyone get denied today?
 
Top third of waitlist. 36 MCAT, 3.96 GPA out of state. And the waiting game continues! Still love you though, Colorado.
 
Also, does Colorado reject post interview, or is everyone who interviewed either accepted or waitlisted? Does anyone have any insight into how many people are on this waitlist????

If I remember correctly they do reject. I don't remember the numbers though.
 
If they have roughly accepted 240, and there are 200 on the wait-list, out of 784 interviews, that would mean that around 340 are rejected after the interview. Rough estimates.

Does anyone know if updates are accepted now that the wait list is set? The letter didn't mention anything about them.

Top-Third of the waitlist, but I will be removing my name from the hat. Good luck to you all! Hopefully it will make it far down the list this year.

I believe they've only had the 3-tier wait list for 1 year. Last year it did not make it off the top-third (high priority) wait list. Even before that they only had a 2-tiered system (high vs low) for a couple of years before which they had a single-tiered system. Given that, it's kinda hard to judge what the chance of going into the middle tier is. This is just from looking at past forums yesterday, so not sure how accurate it is.

The middle-tier letter made it sound like they expect there to certainly be a possibility for admission, but they wouldn't be able to tell for some time. If this is the first time they have had tiers like this, it is probably a bit unknown. For what it's worth, the tone of the letter was relatively optimistic.

From what I heard last year the tiering isn't new and there typically is a small amount of movement on the middle tier.
 
Has anyone that confirmed they would like to be on the alternate list received any confirmation that they received that request?

On last year's thread, pg 22, ski89 emailed vidal asking about the WL and got a response saying approximately 200 were in the WL. Granted, this number could vary slightly year from year, but I think it's very likely it usually hangs out somewhere around the 200 mark. Although it would be great to confirm that.

So is it safe to assume that if we did not receive a waitlist email last week that we've been rejected?

So is it correct to say that following the initial 184 acceptances, the following acceptances have been waitlist acceptances?

No, I was accepted after 240 offers had been made and was never put on the waitlist.

Those are likely replacements for people that either turned down the offer or withdrew after the offer. Waitlist movement won't really start for a while in all likelihood.
