If I'm being honest I'm still super hype at the moment so I can't exactly process or verify all the numbers you mentioned however what I do know is a TON of people get in off of the waitlist hence why if you're in the top third you're essentially guaranteed an acceptance and if you're in the top half of the middle you have a good shot. I know that there are certainly less than 100 left, but they do send out II's into Feb. according to the last couple threads from previous years so don't lose out hope yet!

Thank you for the information! I (as I'm sure the other applicants in this thread) greatly appreciate you taking the time to answer questions and give information. If you may, can you let us know when these interview invitations might go out? I'm assuming nothing until the new year? Also, should we assume if we haven't heard anything by the end of January we're pretty much out of the running?

Likely will begin slowly filling the remaining seats 2nd week of January, I anticipate last list from committee in mid-February since last interview date will likely be in early March.
 
are the interviews offered later on "lower yield" than earlier offered interviews?

I did an MD/PhD interview! It was very casual. I spoke with several different professors within the Burnett School about their research and was simply asked what interest I had in the PhD track in addition to the MD track. Many of them had ideas for how my interests would fit into their lab and were very open to answer any of my questions!

EFI status = you are being considered for an interview and may possibly get one. I have been EFI since mid-September. You will get an email for an interview invite or rejection. Not sure if this school puts people on hold.

The original email that you received spells AORTA out. I do not recall how applications see the dashboard but the definition of that status is either immediately present, or you may have to select the status itself to reveal the definition.
HINT: Admissions Office Review Team for Applications.....
 
Okay this is probably a very sad question but I can't for the life of me remember. Did we upload our UCF essay from microsoft or was there a prompt to enter in your typing? I only ask because I realized the document I began my essay prompt in was saved under a ridiculous name and was not fully complete. I know that if we had to enter the typing manually though that I obviously would have fixed the issue.

Also, does anyone know if we can at least view our supplemental application packet? Not to change anything but just to view it.

If I remember correctly, there was a prompt to enter your essay. You can also view your secondary again once you have submitted it.

My status of AORTA eligible for interview just disappeared. Is this bad? or is my computer just being dumb?
 
Anyone know about how many interview spots are left? This is my top choice school, and I haven't heard anything outside of the "eligible for an interview" update. Complete mid July, cGPA 3.85 sGPA 3.88 MCAT 505. I'm oos but my family lives in Orlando, so I'd really like to move back near them! Thanks 🙂

As far as UCF is concerned English & Math AP usually are acceptable. Make sure that you have 2 overall math, status counts too. Some programs do require calc, but we do not.

Does anyone from the December 9th interview group recall which day the committee will call us regarding our acceptance/waitlist status?

I have submitted 3 updates to my file since I was EFI, do you need to be notified of my actions or your system automatically let you now. Thank You
 
Been complete since middle of September and radio silence so far. Anyone else waiting that long? Does UCF do silent rejects?
 
I want to send an update with my fall semester grades and cant decide if I should attach my unofficial transcript of an update letter with the grades in them- suggestions?
