Approximately how many students per class are on each campus?
If I had to reschedule my interview for Nov. 11th. Can I first of all? And would I be pushed to interviewing in February?
just double-checking: no one who interviewed on 10/12 has heard back, yes?
since a batch of interviewees heard back on 10/14-ish, I think UICOM changed their adcom meetings from the third week of each month to the second week instead. 10/12 was then too close to their deadline to be included in that batch of acceptances. 10/12 would then be reviewed in the next two weeks. the staff did tell us we would hear back by Thanksgiving, which lines up with this theory. I think this is what's going on, but I want to see if anyone has evidence to the contrary.

Also interviewed on 10/12 and I have yet to hear back so I'm thinking you're probably right about that!
Anyone from October 7th interview group hear back?
I applied in early August, and I still haven't heard anything...Late August complete ISers... any IIs?
Has anyone accepted received CBC email yet?
I have not. Following up on this, does anybody know when we're gonna hear about or campus selections?
Hello all! I have been reading on SDN in previous threads that the post-interview acceptance rate is around 79% for IS interviews. Is this correct? From MSAR it seems to be more around 50-60%.
How did you find out about the timeline of the campus assignment?CBC stuff isn't until "Spring." Campus assignments will be mailed out in the near future!

Don't know if this question has been asked but does it matter which site you interview at in terms of where you wish to be placed?
Do you guys think that the admissions committee is meeting the 2nd Thursday of each month based on the acceptances so far this cycle?
I interviewed Oct 7 and yet to hear back, don't think I saw anybody else from October receive any news. Admissions office told me (a few weeks ago) that early october interviewees would hear back by end of october / early november, but I don't think this is the case.
I was also thinking that we'd hear back 11/10, but I'm just going to assume what @DrMantisTobogganMD posted is correct and that we'd hear back by 11/17. I'd just rather defer anxiety than get my hopes up for something sooner.
I called a few days ago asking about when to expect a status update but just received a general answer of sometime this month.Bump. Either of you heard anything about a meeting date?
No slot II available, what should to do?
Did you final get slot?I'm not sure what that means. I called and I was asked to keep checking application portal for open slots.
Sent from my iPad using SDN mobile
Did you final get slot?
The slots open now... Good luck
The slots open now. Good luc,

for those who got IIs do you remember what was on your "application status page"?
Mine just says this: "Your Application has been successfully submitted."

Mine said "its lit"
But actually it will change to applicant "in proGRess" once they have everything checked in and then applicant "in proCess" when they are actually reviewing it (literally the most neurosis inducing nuanced letter change), then eventually if you get an II it'll come up with a grid of dates.
Current Status: Applicant in progress ???? what does this mean ?
I had that status for most of the last 4 months. I searched SDN threads about it. As I understand it, "Applicant in progress" means that your application is complete and (sitting somewhere) waiting to be reviewed. In my case, I sent my secondary and took the CASPer test in early July. I sat at "Applicant in Progress" until approximately 3 weeks ago when my status changed to "Applicant in Process" (which apparently meant that UIC was reviewing my application materials). Today (11/10/16) at 4:20 pm, I was notified that I had been granted an interview invitation.
Moral: This process is lengthy and requires a measure of patience (which, admittedly, is not one of the top five personality traits for most pre-meds, including me).
There are a number of past threads that describe the meanings of these statuses (especially the nuanced Applicant in PROGRESS vs. Applicant in PROCESS). For example, If you search the forums with the keywords "UIC flowchart" or something similar there is a chart floating about in the electrons that explains in some detail what these status changes mean.
Hopefully that helps a bit. I can only speak for my experience, but I would be prepared to sit at that status for several weeks. As I said, it was the better part of 3.5-4 months in my case.

Does anyone know if they are receptive to update letters? Thanks! 🙂
Yea same situation here. There were a few interview spots that opened up for 1/13 last week but they were snatched up pretty quickly. The people answering the phones told me to continue checking the website periodically. Frustrating, but happy to have the invite. So I got an II on 11/09, and every time I check the portal to see if there are any available interview slots there never are...anyone have an idea as to when these will open and if they will open. I can only see dates from 11/18-1/13
