You realize it's past the deadline to submit a UMich secondary right?Does anyone know where we are supposed to pay the secondary application fee?
I'd say that's a good way to go. I'm considering doing so in the near future.Does anybody know if Umich takes update LORs pre-II? I have already sent 5 through AMCAS, but I have been working in a Umich lab as a grad student here and my PI is an MD/PhD who has offered to write me a LOR.

I picked Jan 27th!Thank you! 😀
There was in the end of January and one in February -- I choose the January one!
What day did you pick? I'm so excited to meet other interviewees
I picked Jan 27th!
I messaged someone who also went to my undergrad while studying for the MCAT. After we both took the exam, we actually met up at the gym and spoke in person for the first time lol.OMGGGG I'm finally going to meet someone from SDN in person! loll
What's the point?
I had a really positive experienced interviewing here! The staff do all they can to help you feel relaxed. The two long form interviews are conversational, the interviewers just want to learn about interesting stuff on your application. Re-read your application to make sure you can talk about everything you put on there. Also, it's always good to research the school ahead of time and figure out why it is a good fit for you so you can tell them if they ask. As for the MMI part, I was really stressed about it but it wasn't bad at all. Just have some friends or family practice with you so you can get used to the format (ie. the time limit, acting out scenarios, etc). I prepared using Michigan's career center site https://careercenter.umich.edu/article/mmi-resources. You are going to do great!Any advice/tips for someone who will be interviewing at this school? It is also my first/one-and-only interview in general for this application cycle so I am quite nervous. Any pointers would be much appreciated.
My cousin is an M1 here and apparently most M1 and M2 live in the apartments that are right next to the hospital for convenience so that is probably where you would begin your searchI'm still hoping to get an interview invite here. This means that, if I do get an acceptance, I won't be able to start looking for housing until potentially as late as March. Since Ann Arbor is mostly student housing, where do most M1's find their housing?
There is also quite a bit of information here https://medicine.umich.edu/medschool/education/md-program/people-places/places/housing.I'm still hoping to get an interview invite here. I dont think UMMS still uses this. If you look at the mobile tracker admissions tracker, it was last updated in November of 2014. There "recent" class profile listed is for 2013.On the mobile med tracker, it says my secondary application and fee weren't received (no check marks in the boxes), but on the actual application portal it says my application is complete. What am I supposed to make of this? I thought I was complete a long time ago, but only just now checked the tracker.
There's an area called the "White Coat Ghetto" according to an MS4. Sounds like housing isn't really a problem in Ann Arbor.I'm still hoping to get an interview invite here. That's what she told us on our interview day. She said "hint hint we will tell you before Nov 20th, and since Nov 20th is a Sunday and no one will be here..."Does anyone know if October interviewees will found out before Nov 20th? Since that is Sunday. Seems like Michigan traditionally sends decisions out earlier if the original date is going to be a weekend.
Is it possible to post a link to the acceptance video?
I can't believe they would pre-admit you to their derm residency 😵here's what carol sent me separately: http://bit.ly/22z1qRn
ugh sorry bud. was this an email or just status changeDeferred decision. Muh.
Email. 1 waitlist, 2 deferred, and a couple rejections. So lame.ugh sorry bud. was this an email or just status change
Seriously though is this from a prior year?
I called the admissions office because mine wasn't working either and they said no one's link is working. The lady at admissions just told me my status...accepted!! Can't believe it.My link doesn't work!! Ahhhh it's just a blank page with no video
