Hi everybody! SUPER excited to say I was accepted at this school 2 days ago 😀 I just want to confirm - all that is necessary to "accept" the offer is to click that button on the portal right? No deposit or anything? Thanks and congratulations to those who have heard and FINGERS CROSSED to those still waiting!!
 
Does USF mostly reject during the cycle or wait until the end for mass rejections? Silence from them but I like this school

Yah, didn't see anything in the email or the portal about a deposit. I clicked the Yes button to acknowledge the offer yesterday and there's still no word of a deposit. I'd email one of the admins to make sure though.
 
Hey so congrats on acceptances everyone! When I was accepted last year, there was no deposit. They should mail out a packet about 2 weeks or so after your acceptance call, and I think in there is an info sheet saying there's no deposit.
 
Hello everyone! I'll be interviewing here soon, and was wondering if someone could tell me about their experience? I'm actually hella nervous, so just some info to kinda calm myself down would be great.

Very relaxed. There were about 15 of us. The morning was spent with some presentations. Then we toured the simulation center. Talked to a mock patient, and talked to a couple M4's. Just light conversation. Then lunch with a couple faculty. Sub sandwiches and some chips. Then a tour of the school with some students - standard stuff, lecture halls, library, study rooms, anatomy lab, etc. Interviews at the end. Standard questions about my app, nothing crazy or unexpected. Relax, you're gonna kill it! But of course, you're still nervous. And you'll be nervous when you go. And they know that and expect it and don't look down on it.
 
Can anyone give me insight into the interview day for SELECT at the Allentown location? Thanks!

My experiences exactly.
 
Does the application view date mean anything? My last view was 10/17, hopefully that doesn't mean I was looked at and then put into the no thank you pile!
 
Missed a call from dr Daniel today 😵. Does he only call for acceptances or for other decisions too?

Im not a resident but I have great EC's and a ton of research, GPA 3.75 MCAT 509. App was ready 7/26 and last viewed on 8/3

Just got the email reply back, and also got the packet in the mail today. There's stuff to fill out and send back, but there's no deposit required and they said in the email that there's no deadline on the paperwork as long as it's submitted before the first day of classes.

Congrats! I got my call on the 17th and my packet arrived in the mail today (I'm in Florida). I didn't get any email from them except for a reply to one I sent them.
 
Any news on any interview invites or are they mostly focused on acceptances at this point in time?
