So they just mixed the 2 to make a PIL with non-mandatory lectures?

Essentially. If I remember correctly, there’s no in-person lecture anymore; everything’s online so you can watch at your own pace. The group/problem based learning stuff is in person and based on the lecture for that week. Someone feel free to correct me if my memory’s wrong.

No, there are no more in-person lectures. (A multitude of reasons why. Everyone was dead set on going to class when we started..this lasted a few days and now maybe 20-30 out of 200 IFM kids go...)
Case-based stuff and TBL’s do their job to supplement what you learned.
All the lectures online are well put together and most of them include a recorded lecture video from the person who put it together.

For those completing the pre-matriculation requirements. Where are you getting your fbi finger printing done? Can you get your fingerprinting done anywhere? Im a little confused about this.

I’m still trying to figure out how to do this, I have no idea how :/ it’s so confusing

The document mentioned identogo, but that was only if you are in Pennsylvania. While there is an identogo in my state, NY, im not sure if it will work based on what they said on the portal.

If there is a VA hospital or VAACC in your area, you may be able to contact them about fingerprints.

Deferred post-II, interviewed 1/8. Do people actually get accepted after being deferred?

I have yet to hear an acceptance from the December or January interviews. I feel like they deferred everyone haha. (Deferred post-II 2 weeks ago. Interviewed 12/6)

Long time lurker, first time poster; came here to report deferral earned in mid January from the early November interview batch. From previous year threads, it seems this behavior is new for Drexel to me. I still haven't heard of any acceptance from a deferral (speak up, fellow lurkers/non-lurkers). Current intuition suggests patiently waiting is going to reward some members of the deferred crowd in a wave s/p the interview season. Any other clairvoyants care to discuss glass balls?

Seems like if they don't absolutely hate you or absolutely love you, you're just deferred. Has anyone been rejected post-II?

Anyone know which days of the week post-II decisions typically go out?

Meanwhile at Drexel

Not gonna lie, the fact that my status still says “Your application is ready” leads me to believe that even though I submitted my app in early July, I have yet to even been reviewed. Thoughts?

When I interviewed two weeks ago they said that they were almost done with reviewing applications and they seemed honest. I applied in late August and got an ii in late December

Sweet, so maybe I will get my hold or rejection next week then!

Has anyone who interviewed December 13 hear back yet?

Does anybody wanna comment on how the interview day is? Should I bring a portfolio or do they give you a folder to hold onto papers/info? IM planning on reading over my app/essays but is the interview more like a causal conversation or very focused on activities/app stuff?

I would bring some reading material because you might have a break before the actual interview in which you'll have free time. It helped me to have a refresher. They do give a folder. They did ask me a lot about my app/experiences but I suspect that depends more on the individual who is interviewing you.

Would it be bad to be on my phone during the break? I was going to look up my interviewer to see what their background is but I dont want them to think Im just chillin on tinder or something haha

Yes a bad idea I think, if you wanna look up your interviewer I’d say do it quickly in the bathroom

Seconding this. I had ~2 hours of free time. I spent it playing ping pong with my fellow interviewees though. 🤣
