Did anyone else get an email that they had received your FAFSA and you could now view it on Shark link, even if you haven't been accepted?

edit*** I tried to log on to shark link and there was a student id number. Does anyone know what this might mean?

yes got that earlier in the year after submitting FAFSA to Nova in the fall

For those who have received scholarships, were those given in your financial aid award with the federal loans? Or was there a separate email?

Thanks!

I have been on the waitlist since my interview in January but i got an email today saying that my acceptance letter was sent out the 15th and i only had one more day to respond before they give up my seat haha So kind of an anticlimactic way to find out

Congrats!! You didn't get an email acceptance? Only snail mail?

They said their system glitched and the initial acceptance email didn’t send so i only read their confirmation email that came 2 days later and unceremoniously asked me to pay the deposit to keep my acceptance haha. I asked and they resent it so all is well.

Wait so you have 3 days to decide? Or the letter was sent out on the 15th or March?

Congrats on the acceptance! That's awesome. 🙂 Had you sent any updates since your interview/which Jan interview date did you have? Thanks for the info in advance. 🙂

What does the commit to enroll mean? If you get off the waitlist at another school after April 30th, does that mean you still have to go to Nova?

It’s non binding it’s just more of a formality for them to get a profile started

Just got accepted into NSUMD!! Got the acceptance email a couple of minutes ago. Could current students (if they are comfortable) go over some aspects that they like and dislike about the program currently (as I heard things have changed from January)?
Congratulations!!! 🙂 When did you interview?

But is April 30th still the last date that everyone who's accepted has to accept the offer? Is that when the most waitlist movement will be expected to occur?
If you are asking if COVID 19 has changed the AAMC recommendation the answer is no, but it’s just that, a recommendation.

I thought applicants were required to drop their acceptances to 1 by April 30?

how much does Nova budget into cost of attendance for monthly rent costs? can anyone already accepted or any current students answer this?

On my interview day at the end of 2019, I remember the cost of living expected was $26,000 that went into the expected cost of attendance of ~$102,000 for in state residents

Does anyone have any info on when we have to plan to enroll or commit to enroll here?

Does anyone know what the acceptance rate is? I keep hearing mixed things

Go down to "Class profile" 97 accepted out of 286 interviewed = 33.9% post interview acceptance for the incoming class of 2018.
May or may not have changed last year but some information is better than none.

I’m pretty sure everyone on the waitlist was accepted last year...but they have a deeper waitlist this year to prevent that from happening so I guess we’ll just have to see...

Did anybody else hear back about scholarships? I thought decisions were supposed to come out sooner

This is the Facebook page for the Class of 2024 for the accepted students that haven't joined 🙂
