App was transmitted 09/04. Got an email directly from LSOM on 09/14 saying they received my application.

I interviewed here today and loved it! Does anyone know the post-interview acceptance rate for OOS-ers? I know MSAR puts the matriculation rate at a little under 25%, so I assume it's a bit higher than that?

They will control that number to 25 or less people at a given time. So they can keep offering an admission as people keep dropping out.

I just received an email from Long saying my application as been received. I had submitted my application early June. Did they just now get my application? I know that some applicants reported to not receiving one of these emails, however I am a little concerned that I just now received this. Does that mean my application was "late" since they may have just received it?

Odd. It seemed like I got my received email 10 or so days after my application was transmitted to them.

First week of June. I can’t remember if Long needs casper before II but if so then that was in mid June.

I think they will interview without Casper, but won’t admit you without it.

..but I was SUPER impressed by Long. Didn't know/expect much prior to the interview, but I was very impressed by San Antonio and the curriculum, faculty, facilities. I liked it a lot more than the other schools I interviewed at. Just my $0.02

I’m an MS1 here and I also prematched at McGovern. Interview day at long really made the difference so I’d say give it a shot and maybe you’ll leave the interview with another option!! Either way it doesn’t hurt to check the school out!

They had both options at my interview. Breakfast burritos, pastries, cookies, as well as cute little yogurt parfaits with fruit. Long really does go all out on interview day w/regards to food.

I’m really surprised, I didn’t think I’d hear from them because it’s November now, but there is definitely still a chance!
