I looked through last year’s forum and it said that a couple OOSers had received As on the day prematches started but the post-II email I got suggested we shouldn’t expect to hear back until Feb. it would be an absolute dream tho

It's probably wishful thinking, but wouldn't that be awesome haha
 
Majority of acceptances at match and very few, if any, pre-match. Has anyone received a pre-match? One post says there will be a pre-match on 11/15. Is that true?
 
I got a call on Thursday saying I prematched with scholarship but that the official acceptance email/portal offer wouldn't be posted until Monday and that the scholarship offer would come in the next few weeks. I was actually super excited and shocked because I thought this was my worst interview lol

Oh boy, are you the Debbie Downer, by any chance? Don't need to parade down on his/her happiness on the weekend and I am sure you didn't intend to do that but it comes across like that.

Hopefully, @emoweedle gets the call on Monday and very happy for him/her.
 
Lol I'm 99.9% sure that no one I know would make the effort to study my app, spoof a San Antonio number and pretend to be Dr. Kellaway just to mess with me. I was also very surprised to get a call but I guess it's not a rule that they have to do the same thing every cycle. I actually hope they call more people in the future because hearing them seem genuinely excited about accepting me has made them shoot to number 1 on my match list!
 
What was the area code on the call? I missed a call Friday but don't know whether it was them or not

Dr. K has said she's been making some calls- sounds like that's how they do things now. I think it's a great idea!

Submitted TMDSAS June 28. Got the confirmation email from Long July 22.

ORM, in-state, non trad. Was given Nov 19, 22, and Dec 6 for interview dates.

This is my first II and it's from my top school. I am so thankful. Hang in there everyone and congrats to those who are already accepted.

Congrats from a fellow non-trad! Gives me a little hope as well looking at the dates offered. Must be a huge sigh of relief to finally receive an interview invite. The only advice I can offer is play to your strengths and life experiences that more traditional may be lacking and be confident in who you are and why you want this.
 
Dr. K mentioned on interview day (Nov. 1) that we would be getting an email from her, kind of like a newsletter if I understood correctly. Any idea when that's supposed to come?

She sends around one per month or so! Last one was sent at the end of Oct.
 
Does anyone know if San Antonio has a decent amount of acceptances through the regular match? I have a late Interview which is why I am asking.

They said at the interview that they’re very match heavy. Light on pre-match offers because they see it as unfair to offer acceptances without giving everyone an equal shot. You’re good to go!
 
Anyone that interviewed 10/18 still waiting for Long to be added to school ranking list?
