I only got called for an interview invite in December after submitting in Aug 25 last year. Don't worry too much. Then my interview was Jan, then I got waitlisted a few weeks after, then accepted in July. This is stressful, but don't drive yourself crazy.

No, transitional year is a required intern year before starting the residency you matched into (eg gas, derm,DR, Ophtho etc)

I interviewed on 10/02 and got the email on 10/15 at 2:00pm ish PST. If I recall correctly the people that interviewed on Monday of that week got their email like the day before or the same day I got my email. Best advice is patience. I hope you get that A 🙂

I’m in the same position as you, I could’ve sworn they told us we would’ve heard by last Friday. How far back you think they are?
