Do you guys know what the local GPA is referring to?

What if you didn’t have a science major so you have less than 60 credits?

Complete. Any idea on when we may get an II? I feel called to this school - as if this is where I need to go. Hard to explain. Anyway, it is my top choice so I am really hoping that it works out

I’d have to look at last years thread but my buddy who got into atsu said it was like end of July

It’s my top choice, too! I checked and last year their first II mentioned on SDN was July 9....so maybe we’ll hear soon?

I feel like if it took them that long to go through everything, maybe they were evaluating us while they were confirming receipt of all items?

Can your file be complete for Des Moines without an MCAT? I take the MCAT in August
 
Portal created 7/2 still not complete because of the initial review screening
 
I am scheduled to take the CASPer test today at 3 pm. Do yall know if this is a graded test or more of a pass/fail. Reading their description on the website make the scoring super mysterious. Also, is there any way to know how we did? It seems so strange to me that we don't get to know how we did or how to improve.

It's an ethics test to see how you think. There's no "grade" as much as an evaluation by 12 reviewers. Definitely don't fret about it, you won't get your grade. They're only seeing how you react to situations.

Oh they judge you. Then they never tell you how you did. Personally I don't recommend anyone take it. The year I took it I didn't get in. The year I didn't, I got in. Its anecdotal evidence of course but it's got me thinking that you should never send a school anything if you have NO IDEA what it is going to say about you. Also, there's no good evidence the test is even reliable, as it can vary based on someone's mood alone.

My son came in partway through and was banging on the door. Missed a whole three-question section basically, cool.
 
I just submitted my primary today. When can I expect to receive the secondary fee or confirmation email?

Yep still in the same boat showing not received. Although I emailed them about a different problem (I had 2 DO applications somehow but one was an application to their MHA program which I wasn’t applying to) and snuck in the question about that as well in the email.

Still got the same response please wait 3 weeks for us to process this. They must have a ton of applications this year .

Mine's been done for awhile but idk when it happened. never got an email. I'm also IS.

For those of you who's secondary is complete, how long did it take for the "DMU Initial Review of Application Items" to be received? I submitted on 6/7 so still have a couple days before its exactly 3 weeks.

got portal access on 6/30 and was marked complete on 7/16
 
According to 2019-2020 sdn thread, the first set of portal links were sent out June 26th and the first round of interviews were sent July 10th/15th. I suspect that they're holding out a bit due to COVID-19
