Just got the portal link, paid the supplementary application fee.
 
Just got the secondary link too! Anyone know how to pay the fee from here? I clicked on supplemental fee but there's nothing there for me to click on to pay.

Seems to be that I don't have the option for that. There's a section labeled supplemental fee but it doesn't have anything written on there for me to click on to pay. I went ahead and sent them an email so we'll see what's up!

Does that tab go away after you pay your supplemental fee? I paid earlier and that tab seems to be missing now. I wanted to go back to check if the payment when through and see if theirs a status tab and nothing is there

Yes it seems that it does go away after some time has passed. I read that a new tab should appear within 1-2 days that says "Applicant" when I went to pay the fee.

Thank you, I just checked my portal today and it updated to include this new 'Applicant' tab.

Has anyone else's portal not updated with the Applicant tab? I paid my supplemental fee 2 days ago so I was hoping it would change today.

Yeah like mrtmb said, 2 days is what their wait time is for that. Get any response yet?

I'm not even complete on the portal yet! That would be fast if true.
 
I had a question about the Letter of Recommendation section in the AACOMAS for this school. I wasn't sure what to write for the "Recommender Address." Would we write the address in which their office is located or their home address?

I am still an "applicant" also. They probably only began reviewing them this week, so I would assume they will take at least a full week, maybe two before they are able to pool all of the information and get the files completed. Then another week or two before interviews start going out. In some parts of CO they are working at 50% capacity with COVID, so it is impossible to know how much staff they have devoted to reviewing applications.

As much as it is killing me inside, I am not getting my hopes up for anything to move too quickly!

Yea they are moving slower now than in the past. Was thinking we'd see some file completes on Monday. Definitely not the case though. I'm just curious because their earliest acceptance date this year is 08/03, but it seems that previous timelines haven't supported that date. Given the year, I guess we just have to roll with it? lol :shrug:

It's an unusual year for sure! Can't expect things to be the same you're right. We have to cut the adcoms some slack too 😛
 
Sorry if this was asked before but does rvucom accept AP credit towards prerequisites? I can't seem to find whether they do on their website. Only one of my 2 behavioral sciences classes were taken in college, the other was AP credit
 
I submitted since July 3 and haven’t heard anything. No portal link or initial email of them receiving my primary.

I am missing MCAT and CASPER though so maybe that’s why?
 
Is anyone else unsure of what to put for the last (optional) question? I feel like it's kind of similar to the one right before it? Like they're both pretty much asking for what qualities will make you a good medical student and I'm not sure if not answering the last one is a bad thing
 
So the secondary application is just the questions in AACOMAS or will there be another secondary invitation?
 
I really hope things start moving, got an II from Bradenton already so I’d really like to have one from RVU.

Seems like they're moving a lot slower than last year, understandably so. No one who submitted secondary fees on the day it was first sent has been complete yet. (7/1)

Also confirming. I am not sure if they have received my CASPer score yet either though

SAME! I've just been waiting for interviews and planning to watch to see if I get them from Casper schools. It's been hard to be patient right now!

They sent out their first and only wave so far on 7/1. I'm not sure what's going on but the people who submitted the day of have not even had a complete status change on the portal. They usually send II's out by this time. So they are moving much slower than last year. My suggestion is patience, they will send more. 🙂
