File complete, wow took them a whole 26 days LOL
LOL, tbh I had my MCAT score less than a week later, so idk what the 26 day hold up was.Secondary submitted this morning and I was changed to applicant this evening.
I'm hoping my turnaround time is like yours to give me enough time to get my MCAT score in and not be put on hold lol

I read somewhere, [on another schools's post, not sure which], that this year AACOMAS received x3 amount of applications!!! People are definitely taking advantage of COVID. I hope all my experiences and working the frontlines of COVID helps me out though.
yesDoes RVUCOM require Casper?
Nope just the AACOMAS essaysAre there additional essays with the secondary application? Or is it just the ones that are already asked of you in the AACOMAS primary app submitted.

Hi, I have submitted the primary earlier this week and have not gotten any confirmation from RVUCOM. Should I be worried or reach out?
Ok, thanks, I appreciate the advice. I think you are right, from reading other threads as well it seems that the schools are overwhelmed with applicants right now.It seems like most people have to wait a while before hearing back, I wouldn't worry about it, it seems that most schools are a little busier then usual
Out of curiosity when did you submit your secondary?Update: My portal status has changed from "applicant" to "file complete"
I submitted on 7/1. Hope that helps!Out of curiosity when did you submit your secondary?
It’s my number 3! I love their wilderness and rural medicine track! My dream residency!Curious if RVUCOM is anyone's top choice for D.O. and why?
What speciality are you looking to go into? It’s my number 3! I love their wilderness and rural medicine track! My dream residency!
I submitted the same day as you but Im still not "file complete" status. Did you have to do anything special with your CASPER score or letters of recommendations? I sent my casper score from the casper website and I sent my letters of recommendation on the ACOMAS application. Just trying to figure out if there's anything else I need to do. Thank you!I submitted on 7/1. Hope that helps!
Rural family practice and some EM, so perfect hahahaWhat speciality are you looking to go into?
Are you serious???? I thought fewer people would apply theoretically because of delayed plans..well that's discouragingI read somewhere, [on another schools's post, not sure which], that this year AACOMAS received x3 amount of applications!!! I didn’t do anything outside of what you did as well... if I were you I would maybe shoot them an email and ask them if your app is still being reviewed or if there’s anything you need to do on your side of thingsI submitted the same day as you but Im still not "file complete" status. Probably tied for top choice for me due to the academic medicine and leadership program ( and southern Utah location, I’m a cyclist and the riding there is great)
100% my top choice, they have a lot of really cool EM and Wilderness medicine related opportunities that no other school has. I also love the location!Curious if RVUCOM is anyone's top choice for D.O. and why?
