The timing also sucks because I just need to know if I need to start putting more effort into studying for a MCAT retake and if I need to start getting my app together for reapplying in the new cycle that is already about to begin 😭 this whole process is SO stressful

At least I’m not the only one 🥲. Don’t know if I need to quit my clinical job and risk losing my health insurance just to study full time for the MCAT or wait a bit longer with hopes of getting off that list

I feel you! I actually had to email today to check that they had received my LOI because I hadn’t heard anything since I sent it. Anyways, they told me again to expect more waitlist movement in the coming weeks. So until then, we wait :/

Been pursuing medical school for thirteen years and received an acceptance to DCOM today!

Interviewed: March 4th
Waitlisted: March 21st
Accepted: May 10th

I was accepted on Monday (05/09/2022)! Does anyone know what the movement between campuses it? I asked and they said they have been able to accommodate everyone's campus selection for the past three years, but there has not been much movement this year. I am particularly interested in the Knoxville campus.

From what It sounds like, they’ve been calling 3/4 and 3/11 interviewers so far. I interviewed 3/18 and I’m not sure if there’s any other March interview days after then, but then It should be April! I’m still waiting to hear as well. Hoping we are next!!!

Yeah I don’t think there are any other March because when I was given an II, it was only April 8.

I just got placed in Knoxville. I asked to be switched January 28.

I got waitlisted in February and haven't heard anything back. Does this mean they are done looking at February applicants or will they review it again?

They told my interview group that they review the entire waitlist when they’re trying to move people so I would think you’d get reviewed again, they likely just do It in phases? That’s just my guess though based on what they had said! Best of luck :)

My phone rang SO many times today and in my head I was like please stop calling people because I freak out every time it rings. So then I started thinking I was hearing it ringing after

Yes!! I had to tell my mom to stop calling me so much or at least text me before she does because I was having mini panic attacks thinking that was going to be the call. :rofl:

But I feel like it's nice to have this little community that understands and can relate to what we're all feeling. It sucks, but we push through.
