Does anyone know if the post-II acceptance will be higher with the addition of 40 more seats? Or do you think they are just interviewing more people?

Just found out those of us who interviewed after mid-November have to wait til the end of March

the wording on the site is "By the end of March" so my interpretation was anytime between mid-December and March, I could be wrong though

It sounds like the increase to 205 occurred during the previous cycle (so MS1s starting July 2023). So, for our cycle, the class size should be 215, and for the next cycle, the class size will be 230. But that is just my interpretation!

Also it is 215 for the incoming class this year and 230 for the next cycle. I think looking at the current situation. It will probs be around the same number of interviews, based off my assumption that they are delayed and won’t have time to conduct more interviews than normal

I vaguely remember them saying a sentence about this but forgot lol. Or do we send our thank you email to admissions and that's it/we expect to not hear anything.

I interviewed in September, and have been anxious since (UNC is my top choice). I held the slightest hope that they would release results mid October, then even more hope last week…so if decisions don’t come out this week, I might just 😭. Anyhow, good luck everyone—we got this!!
