yea it really should just come like a day after we submit rankings because it’s currently already set, but unfortunately we gotta struggle through the next two weeks

Just pretend like you are super into the super bowl and look forward to that and then the match will be here before you know it. (Or at least that’s what I’m trying )

I'm OOS, interviewed in late October (haven't heard anything). Will OOS hear back on match day? Should I wait to sent my letter of intent now?

See earlier in thread. I was told by admissions that they’d extend OOS offers anytime November-April. Based off of past years, they seem to like to send acceptances around the fifteenth of every month. I’ve also heard that some OOS were accepted week of match day last year. Maybe not on match day itself?

Thanks. What do you think about the timing of the LoIntent?

Not sure tbh. I did send one already. But it kinda sounds like they may not really look at it or give much weight to it unless you’re WL. No idea when the perfect time would be otherwise though

Has anyone OOS who interviewed heard anything? Please like this if so. Starting to get stressed about not hearing

It looks like one OOS A happened in mid November on this thread but none since :/ I'm in the same boat as you, hopefully we hear back soon!

Guys. As an IS applicant who also interviewed back in August, pls remember that many of the in-state people also haven't heard back yet! Wait until match comes out & then I think it's fair to start tweaking. But it's also not even worth your time to be anxious about it -- what control do you have over when it comes out? If it's sooner rather than later that'll be good for peace of mind, but there's not much you can do to speed it up at this point.

It's so true, you guys have also been waiting. I guess its the part of not knowing when we will be getting an answer versus knowing my fate will arrive on Friday.
All we can do in this process is wait and hope for the best. Good luck on Friday my friend!!! ❤️

Good luck to IS applicants tomorrow!! For any neurotic OOS who are still waiting to hear back and haven’t been able to look through last year’s thread... Last year, the match timeline didn’t affect OOS applicants in any sense it seems. IS interviewees generally either matched or were WL on match day. OOS were still on an active consideration timeline until April thirtieth when they were put on WL. (I.e. OOS WL didn’t form until April 30th). Not many OOS reported acceptances on SDN during that time. However, a few OOS applicants report getting acceptances a few days after being put on WL, around May second.
**Disclaimer for the politically-correct folks: Every year is different and SDN chats are not representative but hopefully this can help set expectations for the OOS applicants who were along with IS applicants being told on interview day that we’d hear back on match day 🙂 **

Do we know if the OOS WL will still be formed on 4/30 for this year?

Didn't match 🙁 Their website says all applicants who didn't match and did not withdraw from the match are automatically on the waitlist. Will we get an email about the waitlist information?

Hi my friends! Not sure what next steps look like, but will we be receiving an email from BCM soon?

Is there anything we need to do after matching on TMDSAS? Or, do we wait until we hear from Baylor directly?

happy for everyone who matched! sadly this was my first choice and I didn’t match :/ anyone know how WL movement is?

Congrats on all who matched yesterday!! Im an OOS applicant and would love to go to Baylor. I saw on MSAR that they have a very large waitlist (500-550) and about 30 people get off. If I wanted to send a letter of intent, would you recommend I send it now before waitlists go out? I’m worried that if I sent it after getting waitlisted it wouldn’t have any effect as the WL movement here seems to be pretty minimal. I know there is no perfect answer, just looking to hear any recommendations!

See if you make it to the waitlist first, prepare your concise letter of 'why Baylor' in the meantime.
I can see from your post history that you have several good acceptances already, are you not satisfied with them?

I am very happy with them! I just have some personal reasons why Houston would be a great fit

I heard that Baylor's campus selection deadline is coming up soon. Does this mean that students who get off the waitlist are more likely to end up being sent to Temple?

Has anyone received the link to make a campus selection? I accepted the offer but have not paid the deposit yet, I'm not sure if the deposit is necessary to receive the link.

Yes you have to pay the deposit to get the link
wait really? In the email it just says "To receive your link for campus selection preferences, you must accept the offer of admission in the AMP portal. You will receive your link for submitting your preferences on February 16th or the following business day after accepting the offer." Didn't see any reference to paying the deposit, am I misreading something?
