Please email admissions if youre missing your secondary and you've been verified a long time ago. I got my secondary five min after I emailed them. Good luck!

Emailed admissions yesterday and they said it'll come within the next few weeks. Did not receive anything. Submitted first day. I think you either got a great admissions officer or it was a coincidence.

Yeah it could be one heck of a coincidence! I would still try to email in case they really are manually pushing these secondaries through.

finally got an email to claim my account. do i just wait until the actual secondary portal gets emailed to me now?

For the question, "Please provide a narrative or timeline to describe any features of your educational history that you think may be of particular interest to us. For example, have you lived in another country or experienced a culture unlike your own, or worked in a field that contributed to your understanding of people unlike yourself? Or, have you experienced advanced training in any area, including the fields of art, music, or sports? This is an opportunity to describe learning experiences that may not be covered in other areas of this app or AMCAS application. It is not necessary to write anything in this section. Also, use this section to explain any impact that COVID-19 may have had on your education/research/volunteering or employment plans. (2000 characters) (Optional)"

Does this only apply to in college? What I did advanced training in a musical instrument, for example, until COVID-19/college?

Is anyone having trouble with the payment portal?

**Edit*** resolved, problem was a VPN I was using, website is fairly clunky compared to the other schools

For question #4 about educational history and additional training, would it be appropriate to talk about something from high school? I was a competitive swimmer for 12 years and stopped briefly before college + I also played the flute for a long time in middle school and high school, and I was wondering if those things were fair game to discuss
I am also wondering this! I have several experiences in other countries related to service/medical experiences in high school. I know they say it's not necessary to write anything which makes me feel like it would be okay to talk about experiences in high school? I just don't want it to hurt my app

+1 also wondering this!

Could somebody confirm this? We went through this before once already and now there is conflicting information.

anyone get an email saying their file is complete? submitted Tuesday with everything in, but still haven't received the complete file.
Hey did you ever get a completion email? I just realized that I also didn't get one and I submitted everything a week ago

I just realized I forgot to include the organic chemistry lecture and lab courses I took in the core competencies section, but they’re listed on my transcript. Should I email them or not worry about it? This is my first time making a mistake like this on a secondary so I’m just overly neurotic about it, sorry.

I think it should be fine, in the portal it said if there were any discrepancies or questions about your courses they would reach out to you.

a little late but got an II IS 8/2 (part of MAMS program though). secondary completed 7/22

heard of this program in passing but never actually looked it up. What is it? like a direct pipeline from masters to md program?
it's a masters in medical science. basically you take biochem/physio/cell bio etc. to boost your application. It's not a direct pipeline, but MAMS students are viewed in a separate pool and the top performers are invited for interview I heard. They admit around 25-30 students from the cohort each year but no quota according to the dean.

Where did you get the information about two rounds of interviews, I received my interview invite today, which has just one slot to choose for the interview.

It’s written on the portal in one of the interview tabs! But I don’t think it means we have 2 interviews, everything I have read about their interview process says it’s only one. And I was also only able to select one slot
