I've not been rejected so wouldn't know.does your portal still say complete and under review or has it changed to reflect the decision?
Thank you all for the votes of confidence, but unfortunately it's my turn to add to the string of pre-II R's today OOS complete 7/22 LM 73.2 casper 1st quartile. Time to claim a dif school as my top choice I supposeI agree it's still early to think too much about it! I submitted 7/14 and haven't heard back still. Not worried at all though!
From what I have seen this cycle so far, completion dates are not that much of an indicator of an II, of course with the exception for a couple schools.
Status now reads: Regretfully, we are unable to offer you an interview.does your portal still say complete and under review or has it changed to reflect the decision?
Have there been any IS Pre II Rs yet? Seems like they just pruned the OOS apps from whats being shown on the thread
12 interviews already. Boston is really missing outFIRST REJECTION LET'S GOOOOOOO!! (OOS, LM 78, complete 7/12, Q2 Casper oops)
yeah I figured just surprised that I hadn't heard of any. Im also from MA so I was just curiosYes there has been. Keep in mind MA is a pretty small state, only about 1/10th of BU’s applicants are instate so you are less likely to see them. I’m from MA and have heard of IS R’s.
OOS pre II R. LM76
bro why, just leave them be. They just got the R no need to ask them questions immediatelyWhen were you completed?

brothas I’m all for supporting each other but most of the purpose of these forums is to share info. I feel for folks who receive the R (we’re all gonna be there eventually) but I can’t blame someone who’s asking for info that’s pertinent to their application/status.bro why, just leave them be. that is fair, but show some compassion no? Not even a sorry to hear that or a that's awful. Just straight to the info, and that's just inconsiderate, and probably makes a response less likely. I'm fine with people asking those questions but like show some sort of feelings towards fellow applicants who were unsuccessful at a sought after school. just my two centsbrothas I’m all for supporting each other but most of the purpose of these forums is to share info. They're relentless this week. sorry to hear man best of luck!Speaking of rejections, just got mine. OOS R, LM 73, completed 7/23. Best of luck to the rest of yall!
I wonder why we've barely seen any interview invites from them this week, but a lot of pre-II rejections. Must be their backlog that they have been waiting to send out. They're relentless this week. sorry to hear man best of luck!

completely fair. Wasn't coming at you specifically, just seen it happen a bunch this last week!Sorry! I didn’t know if it was appropriate to say sorry as some people I know will take it as pity. I’m also just a bit straightforward. My apologies if I came across as inconsiderate but I just want to know where I am on the chopping board.
I watched this video last week and it kinda makes sense. I assume if you get below a certain "score" on their rubric, you get the R.I wonder why we've barely seen any interview invites from them this week, but a lot of pre-II rejections. No! It's a holistic review process, meaning they rank each individual aspects of your application and the total score determined if you get sent an interview invite.OOS R complete 8/8 LM 74
I shouldn’t read into this being indicative of anything bad about my app right?
Absolutely not!! Even the perfect score, incredible EC applicants will get rejected at most schools they apply to one rejection is not a tell of the strength of your appOOS R complete 8/8 LM 74

I am thinking the same! maybe they are re-reviewing to prepare a second wave or smthing?seems based on admit.org / cycletrack that there's barely been any interviews at T20-30s this week.
I'm thinking maybe they sent a huge wave of interviews the past 2 weeks, now they need to actually do those interviews before sending another wave?
based on last years thread, Boston scattered a few interviews in their rejection week(s), but then in the following week or two they sent their next waveI am thinking the same! maybe they are re-reviewing to prepare a second wave or smthing?
(im coping but if it helps it helps HAHA)
