how many people are WL and how many poeple make it off?

Hmmm so it looks like on April 15th accepted students w multiple acceptances have to limit their list to 3 schools (I think), so maybe we will get some movement then?
 
they sent emails to some ppl on the WL for postbacc, i was tlking to a guy who said he got an email, does tht mean they were like rejected and wonder if they still sending those out ?

interesting, I haven't received that email. Is it for a postbac program at ubuff? Bc ik some schools will recommend you do a postbac at their university and then reapply after a year
 
Does anyone know if Buffalo, or any SUNYs for that matter, reject anyone after interviews? Or do they WL everyone they don't accept?

Wow so they are taking ~1/3 of the class from the waitlist that’s not bad (please Jacobs I’m screaming crying throwing up plz)
 
have people started to get off the waitlist?? and did anyone get told what position they are in the waitlist (high, low, etc)? I got waitlisted in february and havent heard anything

someone replied earlier that they know someone got off the waitlist, however other than that, I haven't seen any WL movement. Jacobs doesn't have waitlist positions
 
Idk if this is true but I've heard that over 50% of the class is pulled from the waitlist so there's a good chance of waitlist movement with this school. I hope I hear back soon though because it's stressing me out.

Idk about 50%, but I did hear a good amount get pulled off the WL. It varies every year, so I’m hoping it’ll be more people this year

So no news?! Any clues or ideas about waitlist movement?
 
It looks like the have been movement as the groupme increase to 97 and the Facebook page to 117. Not sure if it was previously acceptance that now decided to join the groups.

Tbf, some of those that joined were told about it at accepted students weekend
 
Has WL movement historically happened for Buffalo on May 1st or early May, or do they usually wait until later in the month? Hoping for sooner movement!
 
I went through the previous years, waitlist movement were reported on the following dates

2022 Waitlist: May 8, May 12, May 24, Jun 3, July 15

2023 Waitlist : May 11

2024 : April 30, May 1, May 11

I’m praying for all of us. Good news will come, joy will come!

I think last year someone also hear on May 5th or 7th i forgot exactly when
