What are the odds this school offers a full ride or hefty scholarship? I have my interview scheduled in 2 days but I honestly wouldn't prefer this school over my current acceptances unless they offer good scholarships
i dont think they're known for giving a ton of money, but they do offer some merit scholarships. hard to say if you'd get a hefty scholarship but if theres any chance you'd attend the school, might as well go to the interview. What are the odds this school offers a full ride or hefty scholarship? I made a note on my personal excel sheet when schools send interviews until and I have Drexel marked as "Until March". I either got info directly off the website, FAQ, or previous forums.Cycletrack and admit show the possibility of more interviews going out throughout February, anyone have any insight? Thank you!
First make sure you go to your portal to click that you accept your position to still be in the running! They also accept update letters uploaded directly to the portal. This info is from their website:OOS Deferred, Interviewed 11/25, LM: 72 🙁(
anyone know what the deferral process is/what i should do going forward? feeling very lost since i thought this interview went well LOL
Deferral doesn't mean your interview didn't go well. Admissions is a black box where a good interview doesn't always equate to an A. Learn what you can from it and move forward. A defferal is not an R and there is still plenty of time left in the cycle. I know this process is a rollercoaster but try to give yourself some grace. no matter what happens you'll end up where you were meant to be. -- at least that's what I keep trying to tell myself 😂OOS Deferred, Interviewed 11/25, LM: 72 🙁(

Applicants on the defer list will be reconsidered at each decision meeting. Starting in mid-April, deferred applicants who have not been admitted or denied will be placed on the waitlist. Applicants considered after this time will be either admitted, waitlisted or denied.
All decisions are sent to applicants by the Office of Admissions via email. Deferred applicants will receive one email at the time they are first placed on the defer list. Accepted and deferred applicants may accept or refuse their position at any time. Deferred and waitlisted applicants may submit updates.

Personally I’m waiting because at this time, zero applicants have been accepted from deferred status. Might as well get more hours to include in an update letter/LOI and send a little bit later in my opinion.thank you both for your insight and wordsshould i be sending a letter of intent ASAP or is waiting the best option?
Typically a pre-II hold at Drexel is a soft RDoes anyone know what to make of a pre-interview hold from this school (months ago) at this point?
Lol i graduated owing $300k. Theyre not super generous. What are the odds this school offers a full ride or hefty scholarship? I have my interview scheduled in 2 days but I honestly wouldn't prefer this school over my current acceptances unless they offer good scholarships
They cancelled classes when they won in 2018 for the parade hahaha (granted getting to Queen Lane from anywhere outside of the area was insanely difficult back then since the shuttle couldn’t travel from Hahnemann.. a UC campus would probably have changed that)philly’s in the super bowl so maybe they celebrate by sending out a bunch of As this week
did you send an update letter?OOS II. Complete end Sep lol
did you send an update letter?
Yes, I interviewed Jan 15th and got that email today! Does it mean anything? 😅Anyone else get pump faked with an email for a post interview survey today? I interviewed early December and just got an interview day experience survery sent to me this morning

I am a current M2 at the Philly campus, feel free to PMI'm trying to find some drexel alum/current students in this thread! I have to choose between this school and Quinnipiac, but would take philly over hamden any day. However, I have been reading about the school on reddit/sdn and have been hearing only negative things, but most are surrounding the closing of Hahnemann or large class size. Both of these things don't really matter to me since drexel now offers an opportunity to rotate to kaiser in the bay (I'm from cali so being close to home is ideal), and I went to a very large undergrad and prefer large class sizes.
Overall, there's a bunch of questions I have about the school and would love to talk to someone who's been there recently rather than reading outdated reddit posts from years ago lol.
