i emailed last week and got a call from the fin aid office. they said there’s still scholarships available and they’re working on getting stuff out to new students

To accept the offer, the two things we have to do is accept offer on applicant portal and hit plan to enroll on amcas correct? I'm paranoid because I did not receive any sort of email confirmation that I accepted the offer correctly from UICOM's end lol. The Pre-Matriculation tab did open up, which was not there I believe.

I got my first A at another school which required me to commit today so unfortunately, I had to withdraw from UIC. It's very bittersweet as I would've loved to have gone to this school. Good luck to you all!!

They received my transcript a week ago, but it's still not checked off. I'll probably send an email in the next couple weeks if its still not checked off.

didn’t specifically say merit and I have pretty mid stats so I’m not sure. But they offered $25k so pretty substantial chunk of tuition

Thanks appreciate your quick response. Following your posts, it appears you go this scholarship after being waitlisted and perhaps contacting the office. Did you have to apply for this scholarship separately, have to complete FAFSA beforehand as a requirement , or was it just given to you without application, on coming off the waitlist ? BTW, congratulations on your scholarship !

Thank you! I filled out FAFSA when it opened up back in December, and it stated all scholarships require FAFSA being filled out. I interviewed late (March) was waitlisted, then accepted 2 weeks ago.
